John de Rosier Francesco is a skilled and talented barber who turned my vague guidance into a winner of a haircut. Went in looking pretty rough and left looking and feeling like a million bucks, all at a fair price. Take in their beautiful studio barbershop on Troys must-visit River Street. Highest recommendation.

Ross Van Doren Francesco is the absolute best. He definitely knows what he’s doing and puts time and care into each and every appointment. The space is pristine and nicely decorated. If you’re looking for a barber in the Capital Region, look no further! Highly recommend.

Patrick Oconnell I came in with a bad haircut from another barber.i wanted to get it fixed. During my haircut Mikey was talking to me about his times in barber school. I have long hair on top and Mikey took out his scissors and made my hair look amazing. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a haircut. Will be back every week to keep up on my hair.

Dominic Black Mikey gave me a great bald fade yesterday. It was a pleasure just to chat it up with him before and during the cut, super down to earth guy. I will definitely be coming back to get cleaned up in the future. His boy kept asking for some clippers but it didnt effect my cut so I didnt really care, kinda funny when it was all said and done.

Krystal DiNovo Davidas is amazing! I called last minute for a cut and color. Vinnie fit me in. They were honest. What I wanted just wasnt going to work. The atmosphere was great. Davida and Vinnie were great! My hair was completely damaged and I walked out with a new cut and color and I absolutely love it! My hair is lighter with volume and more healthy. I wont be going anywhere else.

Elizabeth Rhymer Google asked if I used this business before I started to leave this review. Well, I TRIED to use this business. In Oct 2022 I emailed Davida using the "contact us" email address on the website saying that I just moved to Troy and wanted to try Davidas but had questions about appointment availability in November. I never heard back. I decided to try again in May 2023 and made an appointment online with Davida for 11:00. I arrived a few minutes early and Davida wasnt there. I waited until 11:10 and left the salon. The stylist who was there tried to text her but no response. Apparently when you make an online appointment, you can choose a day and a time, but its not confirmed until you get an email. I made another appointment after this to see what might have been the problem and saw this message. However... this is not how any other online scheduler works, so I didnt expect this, and also why wasnt my appointment confirmed? Or canceled? I decided against my better judgment to keep the 2nd appointment I made, especially because Davida called me to apologize. I got there about 5 minutes early and Davida wasnt there yet. She came in just in time for my appointment but there was another lady there ahead of me! Either she scheduled us both at 11:00 or she was late to the other persons appointment. Either way, she obviously has no respect for other peoples time and is not reliable. I guess other stylists are independent contractors? No mention of other options for stylists on the website, no information about them, and no way to book with them, only Davida. I guess calling is the way to go (but why have the online booking then??) Maybe she would have done an awesome job, but Ill never know. 3 strikes and youre out. Leaving 3 stars out of extreme generosity and benefit of the doubt.

Jazmine Moxley Mary is amazing and knew exactly how I wanted my hair lightened. it’s so hard now a days to find a great hair dresser that knows how to treat blonde hair. love her

Kelly Baker Mary was able to get me in quick, same day. I had to cut off my dead ends, which ended up being a lot more length than I thought. She did her best to keep as much length as she could, while adding some layers. I did have to go back a few days later to have some of the layers adjusted, which she also got me in quickly and didnt charge me for. She has an affordable price, and is fun to chat with while getting the cut!

Gabrielle Shoemaker Andrea Bosko at Cut Loose is the only stylist you need to know in the Capital District- she is amazing! I’ve been seeing her for years and she always does a great job on my haircuts and balayage, I got a ton of compliments on my hand painted highlights.

K Flanagan I got my hair cut the other day for the first time in a long time. I just have to say, I absolutely was impressed by Andrea. I have curly hair, and every time my hair is cut I leave almost in tears. I havent been able to find someone that can give me a nice hair cut. Until now. Andrea knew exactly what she was doing and she did a beautiful job with a balayage and hair cut and styling of my hair that I had to leave a glowing review. Absolutely go to this salon. You will not regret it.

Nabilah Kabir Joann is great and is very knowledgeable about curly hair. She listens to what you want and takes her time. Us curly haired women understand how difficult it can be to find a hairdresser who knows how to cut your hair, but look no further, Joann is the best!!

Walking in the door to make an appointment and being ignored for 20 minutes!! not a hello, not a how can I help you? not you need to schedule an appointment ,not one word spoken to me. It was a Saturday morning I watched three people get their hair done waiting to speak to someone not wanting to be rude I waited . The girl finished her haircut and swept the entire floor not just where she had cut the persons hair and yet I was still ignored. So as a first time customer I will not return. Its a shame too so close to home. Was it my lack of appointment? that got me ignored. Maybe it was my wardrobe choice that day of a black zip-up hoodie and black sweatpants because I was going to be working outside? Because I was looking to schedule an appointment. Definitely not an excuse that they were too busy and didnt notice me. Because somebody else they knew walked in and they jumped to her and went and made her a coffee and made her feel welcome. Needless to say I went to work without a hair cut appointment that day quite bothered by the entire experience. My normal hairdresser move to East greenbush I guess Ill be making the trip there.

The day of she was punctual, very calm and even had a little fun laughing through the preparations. She created a stunning hair design that exceeded my expectations. And my makeup was natural and flawless. I received so many comments on both through and after my wedding. Thank you so very much and I would absolutely recommend 10/10.

Monica Arnold I just recently went to this store!!! First let me say that it’s nice. Now when I walked in there were three young boys very polite but knew nothing about the products or hair. I asked for a 27 mix curly wig and he had to call his parents for pricing that took 20 mins and then I was quoted a price if 130 with tax 150and was told the unit was 100% human hair when in fact it was not. This hair was shedding and felt like synthetic hair. I don’t mind supporting black own businesses but be truthful. All wigs are non-refundable it was not a quality wig. I am going to do a consumer report and BBB complaint. 150 is a lot of money to only be able to wear this wig one time!! I want my money back or made good in the mess I was sold!! Be honest your surely just loss a customer. I’m going to add the photo of the unit.

Stav Huett I LOVE AUDREY. Not only is she now a good friend, but Ive never experienced a hair dresser that is so thorough with my hair like Audrey. She takes her sweet time to achieve perfect results for me and I always leave happy. She always educates on hair and what results are feasible and which take more time. I appreciate her very much! I highly recommend, for all hair types. She also cuts my boyfriends hair and hes never had such a good fade in his life :)

Stone Stewart It’s a challenge to find someone that can cut curly hair but Audrey does an incredible job. I left with a cut I felt truly satisfied with. As a new client Audrey really took her time to understand the current state of my hair and what my expectations were. The salon is a beautiful, cozy space as well. An experience well worth traveling for!

Specialty Computer Services Not impressed. Same shoddy manicure as at mall or walmart location. Where can someone get a real and decent manicure at a reasonable price???

Angie I think that it was a pleasant environment and my daughter was pleased. I did feel a little blindsided because, I had called and asked how much and was told $20. When we got there I said my daughter would like her hair shampooed which took 2 minutes and at the end was told $35 because of shampoo and blowdry. You should have been more specific about change in price. $15 is a significant change. My daughter had a basic trim of a few inches off that took 10 minutes. I just felt overcharged. I understand you are there to make money, but if kids cuts cost $40 around here, thats tough on a lot of families.
