Kayla W I went here for the first time a few days ago, I couldn’t recommend this dentistry enough. You feel welcomed when walking in not like it’s just another teeth cleaning. Front desk was super NICE. Heather cleaned my teeth and she knows what she’s doing. She made my teeth feel so much better and got things off my teeth that previous dentist offices couldn’t. 10/10 experience here and would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist office.

Brittany Seil Wow! Just wow! For my whole life I have had a fear of the dentist due to past dental experiences. Sheridan Family Dentistry has eased my fears. Immediately when you walk in you are greeted by friendly receptionists with smiling faces. My cleaning was so wonderful. There is no wait time to get into the chair and start your session. I had a filing done today and was terrified prior to and i left that appointment in under 30 minutes and in shock of how well it went. The doctor was so gentle. Explained the process. Explained what she was doing every step of the way. Five stars. I have never been more comfortable at a dentist’s office in my life. Thank you to everyone who works there and makes the experience for your patients one to remember and be thankful for! Great job team!

Julia Brundin I recently started going to Nickel City and I’ve had a great experience after having several bad experiences at other offices in the Buffalo area . At my cleaning, they did gum measurements and a very thorough cleaning, as well as fluoride treatment . Dr Kennelly did several fillings for me, and was very thorough and explained everything as we went. Everyone there is so great, very personable and thorough. Highly recommend.

Sara Williams Yesterdays cleaning left me feeling sad .. i felt as if it was rushed, aggressive, and perhaps the tech was preoccupied with other thoughts. I took special offense to her touching the touch screen monitor with the exam gloves used for my cleaning. Yesterday just was not it for me.

Nicholas Capozzi I needed a new dentist and found Nickel City just over a year ago. They’ve been wonderful. Communication is fast and the reminder calls / texts are nice. The staff is friendly, helpful, and make what can be an experience many of us dread actually nice and even enjoyable. They worked well with me with some insurance questions and were up front about what they can and can’t do. Clarity is appreciated. I hope to stay a patient for the foreseeable future.

szin245 Dr Farber did 3 implants in 1 sitting. Pretty close to painless. They also taught me how to care for my teeth/gums with floss and interdental brushes. Twelve years later Chingaz and Dr Orfi have only needed to do cleanings and 2 small fillings. Saved me big bucks I used on more fun things.

Sheryl Papiernik My husband had 3 dental implants done here. Dr, Ally Supowitz is amazing! She did a great job. My husband had very little discomfort and his new teeth look perfect. When they do a consult, they tell you the plan upfront and the price, so that there are no surprises. The office is very clean and inviting. The office staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. When we walk in we are immediately greeted by Becky. She is a ray of sunshine! Becky is a wonderful asset to the practice and we look forward to seeing her every time we go there! I would highly recommend this practice!

Jennifer Lynn I wish I could give zero stars. My son was neglected during his appointment. He was scared, needed reassurance, and to be shown he was good and safe. Instead he was given a poor excuse for a cleaning, neglected xrays, and no dental plan. His twin sister, was treated great during her appointment, however when asking questions I was treated very poorly for wanting to know what was being put in my child’s mouth. She then asked for a prize with the other kids at the treasure chest, and was ignored by several adults. One even made the Conscious decision to TURN the chest away and let another child pick a prize. How disgusting. I am saddened this was our experience and at the end, both my children were treated so poorly.

Yvonne Williams Compliments to my Dentist, she explained everything step by step ,very reassuring. But good thing I let them know that I needed a mouth piece and that I always need extra numbing . Her her helper was sloppy. When I had a my first visit there the hygienist did everything that that she was supposed to,including protecting my personal space. Kiddos to her too.

Sara I don’t normally leave reviews but my hygienist Isabel (not sure I spelled her name correctly) at the Union Stellar location is absolutely amazing. She cleans my teeth more thoroughly than anyone else ever has and has inspired me to take better care of my teeth moving forward. Isabel is the best!!

Taryn Gottfried Run, don’t walk, to have your surgery done here!!! 10/10 Highly recommend!!!! :) It’s the exact experience you want when going in for a big scary oral surgery . They were extremely professional, timely, and organized from start to finish. MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: I needed 4 wisdom teeth extracted in my early-30s and was pretty nervous about it. I opted for IV sedation and the final cost with my coinsurance was so fair and appropriate. The surgery itself was extremely fast and painless. It’s the morning after surgery as I type this and the pain is pretty minimal. The desk staff was always so thorough and helpful whenever I worked with them.

Lilly Fuller-Delmont Absolutely an AMAZING experience, I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out yesterday! I was a bit nervous but the moment the doctor (one of the females, sorry I forgot your name, but you did such an AMAZING JOB) put the IV in I was confident I was going to be okay… as a phlebotomist she did an impeccable job!! Super happy we chose this place!!! Everyone was soo friendly and the process went sooo smoothly! I would go here again for sure if I needed to in a heartbeat, I mean after all I did come from out of state!!!

Rachelle Burns I was incredibly anxious to get my wisdom teeth removed and had a fantastic experience here. Dr. Sethi did my surgery and was incredibly kind and patient, as was the rest of the staff there. The surgery was super quick and seemed to go well. Everyone made me feel comfortable and helped put me at ease throughout the whole process. I’m only on day 2 of recovery but so far have not had any abnormal issues!!

sarah khokhar I was nervous for my root canal but Dr. Matthew’s made sure to talk me through each step and she did a phenomenal job. She kept in touch with me throughout the healing process and made sure to check up on me to make sure all is well. All the staff members are very welcoming and kind. Drew Hillery Called yesterday for an emergency appointment. Was told they would call early this morning. Their schedule was full but they were able to squeeze me in at noon. Everyone from the receptionists to the dental assistants were great. Doctor White was terrific and explained the procedure at every step. Im extremely pleased with everyone!!

Tim Stutz We went to Pure Dental for a consultation to have our son’s wisdom teeth removed.The staff was very friendly and greeted us warmly upon our arrival. Dr. White explained to us why our son needed to have them out and what the process would entail. He was very thorough and helpful. We scheduled our next appointment!

Christina Joy I made dental appointments for my kids that were new patients and confirmed their appointments with a receptionist a few days before their appointment. When we showed up I was told that they cancelled the appointments and they had sent me a letter saying they did not want to take my kids on as new patients. The receptionist said it was due to a past bill (which had to be from 5 plus years ago because I just moved back to buffalo). I didn’t get the letter until the day after the appointment because they sent it out two days before our appointment. My issue is if there was a past bill why didn’t the billing department contact me to reconcile it before the appointment but instead they send a letter 2 days before the appointment and give no option to reconcile the bill?! I’m so disappointed by the lack of communication and professionalism.

Racheal Hess Waited about an hour past our appointment time to be seen at the Main Street office. Initially waited for about a half an hour and was called back with two other families to be sat in a separate room to wait an additional half an hour. The office is not super welcoming for kiddos and feels like a hospital/factory. The staff were all nice but we will be trying another location in the future.

Max Ali The worst place ever. Not sure how legally they can still be allowed to operate. Will be filling complaints to NYS and the insurance company. Staff never ever answers the phone and never calls back when voicemails are left. The absolute worst!!!

MR Safetyman They are wonderful. The entire group of workers and docs are just easy going wonderful to talk to make you feel comfortable. They did great job on my teeth for costs. Wouldnt go anywhere else

Sure wish I went to them first! Instead of them having to fix mistakes of Lif dental and Charlap I went again today on Feb 13. I am healed! Well I am fixed at such a reasonable price I can’t say enough good stuff about the dentist , the staff. If ur for a dentist or not happy with ur dentist. Southtown dental is the way to go! I am soooo impressed!

Rebecca Butera Im sorry I ever stepped foot into this office. Dr. Oddo clearly does not know what he is doing. I had a crown that would not stay on. After the third attempt, my whole tooth broke off. When I called, clearly upset, the rude receptionist told me the dentist was not in and to rinse with salt water. After going to a competent dentist, I found out Dr. Oddo was trying to put a crown on a decayed tooth. It had to be extracted. Another crown that they made was also done completely wrong and has to be fixed. Hundreds of dollars and time wasted at this office just to spend hundreds more to have it all fixed. Like some other reviews said, the assistant put on the permanent crown. It was never checked by the dentist. I hope anyone thinking of going to this office thinks long and hard. There are so many other dentists that actually know what they are doing. Dr. Oddo is NOT one of them.

Stephanie James If you want to wait months. Had appointments scheduled and office canceled same day d/t hygienist illness. Wanted to charge me $50 for having to cancel same day for same reason. Not happening. Then cant reschedule for 3 months. Going somewhere else that may have a few more employees.

Gerald Staub I have been a patient of this office for the last 25 years. The dental services have always be excellent. The office part has always had its drama. Today was a cleaning day for me, I have no insurance but I buy a discount plan via their recomediation for years. I made sure I had the premium paid and did not check any further because they knew what plan I had. Upon entering I was presented with three pages of forms to fill out because of a new system. Must have been too much work for the office. After the cleaning they said my bill was 160. I asked what happen to my discount plan. Answer we dont participate. After the cleaning was done. I asked why they waited till after and no real comment. I paid the bill and said good bye to the parking lot drama and the office drama. Next place easy parking and customer appreciation. .

Katy Swatland I’m not a fan of going to the dentist so I was definitely worried when I made my first appointment @ Amherst Gentle Dentistry. It was all for nothing. Everyone was so nice especially the hygienist, Kristen, and Dr. Bork. The cleaning was quick and painless even though it had been a bit since my last one. It’s a smaller office which I like, I didn’t feel like a number like I have at previous dentists. Highly recommend!

honeybwp1 Goldstein has been my dental home for the past 8 -9 yrs and every time that I have had any treatment done I have no issues. I would like to give my dental hygienist a shout out but I dont want to get his name wrong. Hes professional, informative and always has my teeth clean and tartar free. On his screen when you come into the room there is a picture of his cat if that helps. His music choices are always on point too!
