Kristin Conte: Hotworx offers a versatile work out selection that is tailored to your individual needs. They offer 15 minute cardio blasts and numerous 40 minute classes that range from BARRE to stretch. Their open gym selection allows you to follow along with a planned work out, or get in your own lift. Its my go-to/recovery to offset what I accomplish on my own. The staff are super friendly, know you by name as soon as you walk in, check on you, and make sure your needs are being met. The place is constantly being cleaned and looks great every time. I love that it is open 24 hours. I feel safe when I am there. Highly recommend! :-)

Daniel Lifshitz: Planet Fitness is a solid gym overall — clean facilities, friendly staff, and plenty of equipment to go around. I’ve never had to wait long for a machine, and the atmosphere is welcoming for all fitness levels. The only downside for me is the limited hours on Fridays and weekends. It would be great if they extended their closing times to match the weekday hours.

Even though I am a newbie to strength training, Brian always makes me feel comfortable and confident during my session. He is a great resource on health and nutrition and living life at optimum health. In just three months I am stronger, leaner and sleep better. the entire team is great at motivating you to be your best! I love that each session is individually tailored to meet my goals. And... the infrared Sauna is a lovely new addition!

Alana Carrubba: Kids had a blast learning to climb! This gym is very well kept and beautiful. I normally can’t stand cramped climbing gyms that smell like feet but this place was wide open with plenty of space for everyone. The staff were very patient and helpful as well! We will definitely be back

Rare Breed Fitness - Staten Island

Lauren T: After settling for a less than ideal gym for a the last few years, my family and I were thrilled to do our first walk through at rare breed. We were given free passes to work out with no pressure to join. When we did try the gym for a workout, we found the gym was exceptionally clean. All machines had pins and clips (our previous gym always had missing) everyone exercising worked in on equipment respectfully and all weights were racked by members after using equipment. These all seem minor I guess, but that’s a culture and courtesy you really don’t see everywhere. Theresa answered all my questions and Mike immediately introduced himself to us. It was a welcoming place that we will absolutely be joining.

Thewuni Gunasekara: This gym is fantastic — always clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything you need for a great workout. The machines and weights are modern and well-maintained, and the locker rooms are spotless every time I visit. The staff do a great job keeping the space welcoming and hygienic. Plus, the smoothie bar is a huge bonus — they serve delicious, fresh smoothies and protein shakes that are perfect after a workout. Overall, it’s a great place to train, relax, and refuel!
