Tracy Rhoads: Brought my old wedding ring in to be reshaped after it got bent, and to fix the little arms that hold the diamond in. They got it done in just less than a week, for a good price ($~30 to reshape, ~$100 new diamond holder) and it was also shined and polished!
Sparkle Lake Placid - Lake Placid
Jenna Mausolf: Sparkle is a great shop and the owner is a delight! I purchased a wrap bracelet and I absolutely love it. The colors are perfect and I love the fit. A beautiful job well done by the owner!

John: Purchased an Alex Sepkus diamond ring at Haydens Jewelers recently. The ring is unique and beautiful. The experience at Haydens was even better - just exemplary. The staff and owners at Haydens are nothing but a pleasure to work with. They are friendly, genuine, knowledgeable. We have worked with a number of jewelers over the years. Haydens is hands down the best!! Such a great experience.

Laney Woolf: I would highly recommend purchasing from here! Everyone in the store is very helpful and super friendly. Doug helped my husband and I create my engagement ring FROM SCRATCH and it turned out better than I ever could have imagined. I went in looking for a specific ring I tried on years ago while in college (Stella by Devotion... shes beautiful and I would definitely recommend checking her out). I was unsure if I was still into that design, or not. Doug had the ring shipped in from another store, so I could compare it to others in order to get a feel for what I wanted. I tried on ever ring I could, some numerous times. I tried on different cuts and different sized diamonds... Back and forth... this, then that. Doug was so patient and so knowledgeable that I dont think I would have trusted anyone else to create my ring. I found that I had grown out of my Stella phase and my husband and I really liked the marquise diamond. We brought a picture in from the internet and after MANY weeks of drawing and reviewing, we finally said "ok". We were super impressed with how quickly everything was done. It seemed we were always getting the phone call ahead of schedule to move on to the next step of the process. Next thing you know, the ring was completed and I am still, to this day, absolutely blown away at how beautiful it is. I will never regret going through this experience with the Perriwinkles team. It started out as a weekly visit during the "shopping" processes and now its turned into a weekly visit simply to say hi and get my ring cleaned. Lol Doug definitely was as superstar and the rest of the staff we amazing, as well. They deserve many more than five stars. Thanks for listening. Heres a couple pictures of terrible photography... a friend once told me to make sure I use 2.5x magnification for the best quality ;)

    Cooks Manufacturing Jewelers - Watertown
Lexifer: We have always had great experiences here, from selling jewelry to having it sized to appraisals to custom jewelry. They are honest and fair, and provide great customer service. They are candid when something is not in their area of expertise, rather than giving incorrect information. They have been in business here in Watertown, NY for decades and have maintained their great reputation, which just goes to show what kind of business they are.

Serpentini Jewelry & Watch Services Etc. - Middletown
Alexus Stone: Great to work with, very kind, and extremely Knowledgeable! I’m EXTREMELY picky about who I let work on my antique pieces because they are so delicate and most people these days don’t know how to work on/handle antique pieces. But I completely trusted him with my pieces and he did amazing! I will absolutely be a repeat customer and will be bringing more pieces to be worked on! Highly recommend!!
Hermit Hill Vintage - Saranac Lake
Katie Santner: What a gem of a store! This family-owned antique shop is truly a treasure trove, filled with a wide variety of unique items—from vintage collectibles to absolutely stunning fine and antique jewelry. Every piece seems to have a story, and the entire space feels warm, welcoming, and full of character. Katherine and Chris are incredibly knowledgeable—they’ve been collecting their whole lives, and Katherine’s passion for jewelry really shines through. She and Chris were so kind and helpful when I stopped in to find a special maid of honor gift for my sister. With their guidance, I found the sweetest, most meaningful vintage bracelet that I know she’ll treasure forever. And I cant forget to mention Rosebud, their sweet dog, who was the friendliest greeter! She made the whole experience even more special. You can tell how much heart and hard work has gone into building this store. After everything local businesses have faced since COVID, it feels especially important to support small, family-run stores like this one. Shopping here isnt just about finding something beautiful—its about being part of a community and supporting people who truly care about what they do. Can’t recommend it enough if you’re in the area! I’ll definitely be back anytime I’m visiting ADK!
