The Diamond Mine - Poughkeepsie
Daniel Lamar Wright: Went into The Diamond Mine with my future fiancé today and the experience was absolutely incredible. We did not know much of the needed information when it comes to engagements rings. Connor was the absolute perfect salesman. Gave wonderful education. Took his time with us. Put our minds very much at ease when embarking on this new journey for us. 10/10 would recommend getting help from him.
DeS Jewelers - Poughkeepsie
Mariah Burke: My fiancé and I went into De’s to design an engagement ring. Dennis was so informative, sat with us and gave us all types of options and never pushed for one or the other. We felt informed about all the options and the end result was absolutely beautiful. This is a great place to go for any jewelry needs!! The costumer service is outstanding!!
Robinson Jewelry Design - Poughkeepsie
Bella Scavo: My husband had Marquise & Tiara design me an eternity wedding band to fit my engagement ring. My ring is so beautiful & sparkly with the best quality diamonds!!! Highly recommend. We’ve bought many pieces from RJD including my husbands’s wedding band. I’ll attach pictures of both my ring & my husband’s ring.

Justin Dauscher: My breitling watch broke morning of wedding, I came in hoping for a miracle and they delivered. Blown away by the entire team there. Customer service was exceptional, facility was gorgeous. Wish I lived closer would love to do business with this fantastic crew. Thank you again !!!
G & M Jewelers - Poughkeepsie
Barbara Olsen: Elizabeth is an absolutely terrific jeweler who does beautiful work. She has repaired several pieces for me, has restrung a pearl necklace and a jade bracelet, replaced a missing side stone in an emerald ring, and has cleaned many older pieces. All her work is beautifully executed and fairly priced. She is deeply trustworthy and knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. I highly, highly recommend!

Morrison Jewelers - Poughkeepsie
Matt Garrison: Bill at Morrison Jewelers is incredible to work with. Hes knowledgeable, knows the history, and is a master from real experience. If you ever need work done on your prized pieces, go to the jeweler themselves if you can. Great guy, great prices, and great parking near his store! Highly recommended!!
Dreaming Goddess - Poughkeepsie
I A: I rarely write reviews, but I feel a responsibility to speak out for others who may have left this store feeling humiliated or silenced. My experience with this establishment was nothing short of unsettling—and it begins and ends with the team member, Shayleen. From the moment I walked in, I was met not with warmth or welcome, but with an air of passive-aggressive hostility that bordered on paranoia. I came in simply to explore and test fragrances—standard practice at any store selling perfumes. Yet despite some clearly labeled “tester” bottles on display, I was firmly told no. No explanation, no courtesy. Just an unshakable sense that I wasn’t allowed to engage with the products. This wasn’t just poor customer service—it was gatekeeping, plain and simple. Shayleen made NO attempt to conceal her disdain, as if I was unworthy of even sampling what she sold. I left feeling not like a customer, but like an intruder. And based on numerous reviews across Yelp and Google, my experience isn’t an isolated incident. It’s a pattern. Let me be blunt: this is a business that seems to judge who is "worthy" of shopping there. If you don’t look a certain way or fit into the owners narrow view of a “trusted customer,” expect to be treated like a threat rather than a guest. It’s discriminatory, demeaning, and completely out of touch with what modern retail—and basic human decency—should look like. To those thinking of supporting this business: ask yourself if you’re comfortable giving your money to a store that makes certain customers feel small, suspicious, and unwelcome. The owner is doing real damage to her own brand by refusing to treat all people with dignity. Oh, and as for the merchandise? The crystals—hyped up as rare and “energetic”—bear a striking resemblance to wholesale offerings on AliExpress. Something to think about before you spend $60 on a $6 item. If you’ve been mistreated by Shayleen or felt unwelcome at this business, please like and upvote this post to help others find it. NO ONE deserves to be made to feel small for simply walking into a store. Choose to shop where people are treated with respect. This store does NOT deserve your loyalty—or your money.

Jennifer MacMillan: Thanks to Amy for helping me find the perfect ring. She was more than willing to showing me many rings and help me narrow down my choices until I felt comfortable with my pick. Couldn’t ask for a more patient, nice, helpful person. She’s a gem!
