  • Vent Fitness - Clifton Park
Ben Wilkinson: Adequate gym but do not expect staff to provide assistance in any way shape or form if you have an issue of any kind. I was verbally assaulted by another member who hogged equipment for over 30 minutes and staff shrugged shoulders and offered no help.
    Soluna Yoga Studio - Niskayuna
Springtime: Every class Ive attended at Soluna has been carefully and expertly taught. The studio is blissfully allergen-free, with bamboo floors, kept very clean. Teachers request that no one wear scented products: I appreciate that so much. Truly a haven of good vibes & good work.
Kabari Wellness Institute - Seneca Falls
Deborah Ector: I go here mainly for Red light therapy, but theres also an infrared/salt sauna, hydrotherapy bed & gym to go to without breaking the bank! A few holistic Drs & othehealthy/ services.
    Groton Fitness Center - Groton
Ronnie Bell: Such a wonderful place to join! The members are all friendly and approachable and the facilities are always spotless and clean. Membership is a fair price and for a small town this beats some large city facilities Ive seen.
    T-Fit Fitness - Trumansburg
Wyatt Mechalke: More catered to older folks just looking to do cardio. Not a great place if youre working hard. If youre looking for a serious gym, this isnt it.
    Maha Yoga Ithaca - Ithaca
Kate Freedman: Maha is a much needed new yoga/mobility studio in downtown Ithaca. Great looking studio with full supply of mats and props. I’ve been practicing yoga for 23 years and Justicia is one of the best teachers I’ve worked with. I love her yoga classes. And her Maha Mobility class, which I just tried, is going to be life-changing! Highly recommend.
Peak Performance Fitness Consultants - Dryden
Meg Bishop: I love this gym! My son trains there -- with Kyle -- between sports seasons and it is clean, safe, and well-managed. I like that the owners are local and give back to the community. Top notch!
    Fundamental Movement - Ithaca
    Refinery Fitness - Rhinebeck
Bobbie Coston: I have been utilizing Refinery Fitness since joining in 2020. I chose the gym over other options in the area because it offered everything I needed, in a more intimate space than available elsewhere. The gym offers a private setting to workout in, no crowds, people taking selfies in the dressing room, or slamming down weights. No one to impress; just an opportunity to workout in a clean, safe environment. The equipment is first class and Navin (the owner/manager/trainer) is responsive to any concerns or questions I may have. Since joining, Navin has expanded the gym and I can’t imagine going elsewhere.
The Yoga House (Kingston) - Kingston
Chris Colasanti: We had the pleasure of hosting Amy from Yoga House at our corporate retreat, and she was absolutely fantastic. She led a mixed-level group, including complete beginners, with clarity and care—making everyone feel welcome and at ease. Her class offered the perfect balance of gentle stretching, thoughtful movement, and grounding energy. She ended the session with crystal singing bowls, which brought a deep sense of relaxation to the entire group. Amy was a true highlight of our offsite and I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional yoga experience.
