    Laura Candrell: Ripped off a family friend. The maintenance supervisor had a car towed off the property in Owego due to expired registration. (family member was in rehab due to illness) cost the family over $400 to get the car back. Would have cost less than 100 if towed local. So much for using local for towing. Kickback maybe? A little investigating and all came to light. The maintenance supervisor also seems to have an in with his family members winning the bids for all the contracted maintenance work. Cousins doing the rehab on the buildings and concrete work. Friends doing landscaping and flooring. Something doesnt play right when friends and family always win the bids. The staff under him complain to higher ups and nothing seems to be done. Unfair practices when refunding rental deposits. No clear policies. Charges by maintenance that are exaggerated to tenants in government funded buildings. Favoritism and underhanded practices that should be investigated. Good employees run off when they question the practices of the higher ups. Female employees treated badly by maintenance supervisor and nothing done about it. The list goes on and on.

    Bill D: 15 years with the bank. Legitimately, 100%, did not miss a single payment on car loans, personal loans, etc. Started driving for Amazon Flex temporarily between jobs for 8 months, and still, did not miss a single payment. A lady ran a stop sign and totaled my car. Loan was paid off, plus $6,600. Visions denied a new car loan because I did not have 2 years of 1099 work history, effectively putting me out of a job. They may be your only bank, but youre just an account number to them, not a person, not a customer with perfect payment history, not a human being. They do not deserve our loyalty if they are not willing to return it when its needed the most. EDIT: What a copy and pasted canned response. You dont care about your customers or youd return their loyalty. Your customers arent people to you, theyre just account numbers from which you can profit via interest. What a joke.
