2 /5 BUR MARMAR: I have taken loans out with this company for almost ten years now. I am currently in the process of paying off another loan with them. The one good thing about this place is that you don’t have to jump through a lot of hoops to get a loan through them. They’ll most likely accept your loan request. All you have to do is sign documents which usually takes about forty-five minutes to an hour, much longer if you actually want to read through the agreement which they will allow you to do with no hurry. Even if you somewhat speed through the process, they will explain to you what each page and agreement means and entails. After you sign and agree to everything you can have your loan as soon as within an hour. That’s it. That’s the only positive thing I can/will say about this establishment.
Understand me very clearly. If you miss as much as one payment, they will call your phone nonstop every single day until you respond back and set a specified date on when you will pay them. “I don’t know” or “I’ll pay as soon as I can” is not an acceptable answer. This is understandable. I’m aware that people have a job to do. However, the levels these people will go is ridiculous. Their “Manager” Chris is a joke and has constantly threatened me with “legal action” numerous times even after I have called and assured him that I would pay any backpay that I owe. I I have stated previously that I have taken loans out with this establishment before. There have been times when I have fell behind on payments in the past but was able to contact this establishment and let them know that I would pay them as soon as I could. I never really had any issues with this and true to my word, I was able to catch up and pay any backpay I had. This has not been the situation this time around. I in good faith, have contacted Chris and this establishment to let them know of my situation and that I was not looking for anything else but some time to be able to catch up. I have been given a hard time every single time I have called. Chris has threatened me with legal action so many times that I’m starting to believe that this is his primary go to method of solving problems rather than actually taking the time to work with you. He will threaten to “take legal action” but with the same breath, claim that he is trying to “help you” THE AUDACITY! I have asked them if they could reduce my monthly payment. It would take a little longer to pay off my loan but at least I’d be able to pay on it every month. I’ve been given the runaround on why this isn’t possible but every week or so I get an E-mail stating that the company would possibly be willing to reduce my monthly payment. THE AUDACITY! The last time, and it will indeed be the last time, I spoke with Chris, he made me so angry that I was literally raising my voice which is definitely out of character for me but that’s how irritating this guy is. Then he had the, what’s the word again? … AUDACITY to act like the victim and ask why I was raising my voice at him and that I was “acting like a child”. Mind you this is after he insulted me after I told him that I wanted to stop automatic payments and that it would be more convenient to pay manually. He insinuated that I was trying to get out of making payments. That’s when I became Irate and that’s when he stated “Let’s act like adults here.” My God, the AUDACITY. If you’re in a bind and need a loan, do not go here. Find somewhere else or better yet just don’t. It’s very stressful to owe anyone anything. Lesson learned for me. I am currently facing many financial obstacles due to a few unfortunate circumstances I am not trying to get out of paying off this loan. I’m just trying to survive and make ends meet for the time being but it is obvious that this establishment cares nothing about that. Fair enough! If I could do things over again, I would NOT take a loan out let alone from this place. I’d rather make a deal with the Devil himself. I feel he would be more lenient. Moral of the story I will eventually pay this loan off and I will never come back again.
