U.S. Social Security Administration - Monticello (NY)

5 /5 Melissa Miller: I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to the Monticello SSA. I came in without an appointment, registered, completed my paperwork and met with a representative in 15 minutes. Although every pen had been stolen from the lobby and booths, the security guard was nice and lent me one. The clerk was very friendly, efficient and clear about next steps. In comparison with many other government offices, I think they did a great job. Kudos!

5 /5 Marek Wilczek: I have to say that I dont understand why this office has so many bad reviews. I was served recently over the phone (due to pandemic), spoke with a lady (first time) to make an appointment and she was very nice and helpful. Then on appointment day Mr. A. Marte called me to set up my and my wifes benefits. We were on the phone for about an hour and a half but it didnt bother me because Mr. Marte was very professional, helpful and patient when I asked him hundreds of questions. 5 stars for them!
