1 /5 L.L C.: A recent real estate transaction collapsed. Buyer and Seller agreed Buyer would draft the agreement. Then the out of state buyer hired Finucane. Finucane sent a letter "requiring" my attorney to draft the agreement contrary to the parties prior agreement. Consequently, my attorney revised his agreed upon fee schedule but that didnt matter since the whole deal collapsed. I plan to make a formal complaint on this and prior occurrences. If anyone knows of any NY State law "requiring" a seller to draft a purchase offer, please let me know.
