  • Grind House Brooklyn - Brooklyn
Eric Anderson: A+ gym. Very big, I can always find space to workout. Always clean. Tons of equipment. Members are all respectful and mostly return their equipment and don’t leave the gym a mess. For proper workouts I think this is the best gym in Williamsburg and the price is very good for the value.
    Bk Fitness Club - Brooklyn
Richie M: I have been going to this gym for two months since my previous gym closed. I have tried other gyms but this by far is my favorite. Sam (owner), Arianna and Savannah are very friendly and welcoming. They are knowledgeable and take their time when they train people. Unlike other trainers Ive seen in other gyms they take an actual interest in the person theyre training. Their classes are always well attended and the people that take them genuinely enjoy them. The gym is itself has top of the line equipment that is well maintained. Its never "crowded" and the people that train there are all friendly and down-to-earth. If youre looking for a gym I highly recommend BK Fitness
    Absolute Power Fitness - Brooklyn
Andrew Allen: Best gym in Bushwick! The staff is friendly, the equipment is well-maintained and rarely out of order, and it’s never overcrowded. If you’re looking for a non-commercial gym at a great price, this is the spot.

Dean Q: Ive stayed with this gym for a few years now. Great atmosphere, well maintained and clean equipment. They have every machine youll need and best of all 4 squat racks. Friendly staff as well. Highly reccomend.
PureGym - Formerly Blink Fitness - Brooklyn
Diseño Bienestar: When you sign in for this gym you know its going to be crowded, but you have to know that is going to be dirty and not well maintained, at least for the study heights one, theres buckets everywhere bc of the leaking celling, the machines are broken or old, and there is trash all over the place, overflowing bins and dirty bathrooms. I used to go to gates av before, and the condition of that gym was much better, the staff was cleaning and checking that everything was looking good, but on this one is a mess.
    Slope Fitness - Brooklyn
Jimmy OKeefe: It’s a good gym, good value, convenient, clean, decent equipment. Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s usually not crowded which is great. Sauna is really nice.
    Chelsea Piers Fitness - Brooklyn
J Chung: Ive been coming for a year and overall had a great experience at this gym—huge credit to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff across the board. The front desk team is always warm and welcoming. Special shout-out to Max, who goes out of his way to help with bookings, questions, and anything else—he’s a real standout and sets the tone for the whole space. The cleaning staff keeps everything spotless, and the class instructors are generally motivating and high-energy. I also want to give a very specific highlight to Greg, one of the personal trainers here. Greg brings unmatched energy, challenge, and growth-focused coaching to every session. He knows how to push you the right way, is super intentional with programming, and genuinely cares about helping his clients get stronger—not just physically, but mentally too. The best part of his coaching is he listens and adaptation to your needs and how youre body is that day, and when it gets hard, hes beyond encouraging and youd breakthrough boundaries you thought you had quickly and safely! If youre looking for someone to help you level up, I highly recommend training with Greg!!! The massage services are great as well—professional, restorative, and a perfect complement to training. Booking can be a quote challenging however. One quick note: online booking and communication can sometimes be hit or miss, others no one consistently helping you, and Ive definitely got attitude for pointing out how confusing it is, so I’d recommend visiting or calling in person for the fastest and most accurate info. And a small piece of feedback: in some yoga classes, the instructions can move a little too fast or aren’t always clearly audible, especially when a lot of jargon is used. It might help to label the classes by level (beginner, intermediate, etc.) and offer clearer cues or modifications so everyone can follow confidently. All in all, an awesome gym with great people, clean and energized space!
    Life Time - Brooklyn
Elizabeth DiAlto: I love this place. Clean. Friendly staff. So many amenities and great equipment but the layout is also smart. Too many gyms are laid out in ways that make it really inconvenient and annoying to workout there. This is not one of those. Love the co-working area. The massage and cryo beds. Highly recommend. Also worth noting, i do not go during peak hours and Im sure that impacts my experience.
    Speakeasy of Strength - Brooklyn
Rachel Griesinger: My body has changed in best way over the course of the four months Ive been a member here! I was always a long distance runner and I never did much weight lifting before, or had much experience with kettlebells. After dealing with a long term foot injury, I realized I needed to try something else. I am so glad I found this place, and so grateful for the coaches and the community that they foster. You do NOT need to be "in shape" or have any experience with weight lifting, the coaches are the best guides and will help you along the way. I have become so much stronger, and with patience, by month three, my body really began to transform. Its worth every penny. The thoughtful way they program each session and strength circuit is not something you can find just anywhere. The max amount of people per session is six, and you get one on one adjustments and help going up in weights, etc. Cannot recommend Speakeasy enough!
    Form Fitness Brooklyn - Brooklyn
Beth Hicks: Ive been a client at Form since 2021 and it has changed my life. This is a community. A space where you get stronger, push yourself, celebrate the wins. I would not go anywhere else. Heck, even if I moved across the country, Id find a way to train at Form and with Francine.
