Linnette Maxson Our pastor is brilliant (Ph.D. in chemistry, a Greek and Hebrew scholar), and when she talks about God, her face glows and joy inhabits her voice. .
From September to May she holds a Bible study group every Monday morning where she fills us in on history, geography and cultural mores of the time. Normally we have 15 to 20 people there, not all of them from our church.
Our congregation is welcoming, we love little kids, we house the local food pantry and this year are growing a community garden. ( Ive never seen kale look so good. )
Our music director is dedicated to the church and the community. Every spring we host a series of organ recitals that are very popular. Our choir is small but enthusiastic, and our handbell choir works hard to play 6 or 8 times each year.
Come and worship with us, and stay for cookies and fruit afterwards.
