Michael D. Torres Fordham Community Church is a gospel-centered church that feasts on the unmerited love of Jesus Christ. The community is ethnically-diverse and the teaching is faithful to the Scriptures.
The lead pastor, Ramny Perez, hides faithfully behind the Scriptures and ministers accurately to the church - leaving its members both humbled, yet grateful to know the reality of sin in this world, and of the God who died and resurrected on their behalf.
As a member for over a year, I have personally witnessed the good fruit produced by this church: faithful marriages, authentic love for Jesus, unified community, and countless other fruits I overlook. This church has and continues to walk along not only myself, but folks in all stages of life, and I’m certain it will continue to do that for visitors and future members for years to come.

Chrystal Tyler I attended this Church on Friday for my Sister in laws remembrance ceremony . I found the service was very rushed through it lasted about 22 mins. There was confusion over if we made a reservation to remember yet the place was empty our family were grieving. Just seemed a little disorganized yet we were the only people there for that service. Once it was over they had everyone out by 7:25 and locked the doors and fence like if they were missing an appt. Didnt feel welcoming or even inviting this what church had become.

Peaceful, full of nature, and surrounded by that calm academic energy that every great university has.

Dan Zena One of my favorite churches in NYC. Its right in the Fordham University campus in the Bronx and its such a refugee from all the chaos that is Fordham Road. This church is open 24/7 but you can only get here if you can access the campus. Thankfully, I have worked here and do work here occasionally so I always take the time to stop here and pray, meditate, ground myself, and take some much-needed stress out of my soul.
Its usually very quiet with little-to-no people here on the hours there isnt mass. I did notice theres a good amount of people who tend to pass through around the late morning and early afternoon hours. However, its not a tourist spot so people usually come here to pray or check the church out.
The best time to come here is late nights are super early mornings if you can do that. Either way though, its a beautiful church thats one of the more quiet and isolated churches. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

Lissette Rivera I had a very unwelcoming experience here on more than one occasion. The Centro Carismatico Ushers are very rude—one man argued with me before getting into the confessional on one occasion because my mask was not up to his standards (yes, it was a standard cloth mask that covered my mouth and nose. I did not take it off once. I also sanitized. He argued that it didn’t go up high enough for his liking to cover my nose completely and tried to prevent me from entering the confessional. The priest said I was fine and there was no problem. On another occasion, I came to church and stepped out before Mass started because I came early to do my rosary, but the upcoming Mass was in Spanish (I prefer English). The ushers told me I could not leave the church because Mass was beginning soon. What? Since when am I forced to stay inside a church? The ushers are very unwelcoming. Over time, this parish has become very clique-y. If you’re not very charismatic, you won’t feel like you fit in, and the church doesn’t do much outreach to support those who are not into that. I have no problems with the priests—they are all wonderful. However, ushers and workers there need lessons on how to approach parishioners and talk to them like people.

Richie Outerbridge I stay the weekends in the Bronx sometimes to help a friends family and I need to come to this church sometimes so I dont miss mass. I love Mass at my church in Staten Island, very traditional and conservative. And this is a really nice switch and to feel the Lord with different people, different music... and everyone is nice & polite. Such a needed haven to strengthen your faith and spiritually armor yourself against... I guess the demonic madness our elected officials dont care about. But God does.

D W The English choir is actually not acceptable. I think that they should have some of the children sing rather than have adults who are willing but not able. I resent the notion that when we enter into the parish to serve God, anything we offer is acceptable and standards are cast to the wind.
Also they need to redo the floors under the pews. I also do not like the fact that they insist on celebrating peoples birthdays for the week at the end of every mass, that becomes tedious and campy, besides more singing ensues. Oh, and while I am being charitable in my own special way, they need to have a better organized method of receiving the Eucharist, people form a line up to the middle of the parish in the middle aisle then return down the same aisle forcing the remaining people on the line to veer to one side or the other or bump into each other.
