Paul Imhoff My wife and I visited this church in January 2024 when we dropped off our daughter at Syracuse Univ. for spring semester. The service was wonderful and the people friendly and welcoming. I still think about the content of the sermon I heard one year ago. As an outsider, my first impression is that his church is a great community to explore "who Jesus is" with, if you are not a Christian. If you are a believer in Jesus, it is a wonderful community to grow in your ability to follow Jesus and love others.

Every organization can go no higher than its leader and Pastor Ben Tubbs puts God first as his leader and leads by Gods direction. I can tell a genuinely giving, loving and integral person. Pastor Ben lives it. Thrive City issuch a beacon of selfless giving and love toward others as Jesus was when He walked the Earth. Why would anyone want to go anywhere else? Unless the place matches what Thrive does. Not easy to find these days. But dont take my word for it. Youll need to experience it for yourself.

Ed Butler My wife and I have been attending this church for several years now and love it. The 4 pastors that lead it have a heart to serve the city of Syracuse as well as the nations. One of the things I love about it is the focus of the leaders to work together with other churches for the sake of the gospel. Another thing I love is the pastors teach the whole word of God and dont water it down or avoid difficult topics. It is a great church with an outward focus that my wife and I consider as our family.

James Garland St Daniels is a wonderful place to worship. The Masses and music are simply beautiful. And the homilies by Monsignor Yennock and Deacon Celentano are always informative, educational and meaningful. Services at St Daniel are truly spiritual.

stratovani I lived in Syracuse from 1960 to 1967, and this church was known as St. Andrews The Apostle Roman Catholic Church back then. That was over 50 years ago, and i have fond memories of this church back then. I was an altar boy and I was in Boy Scout Troop 225.

bwm cny I went to the 11:15am mass with the family yesterday - we were the only couple there with a child, which was the first clue this isnt a great church...besides the parishioners giving us nasty sideways looks for no reason. The priest proceeded to unleash the smoke on FOUR occasions within the first half hour. During the lowbrow sermon on the British Royal Wedding which happened six months ago, my baby and I began to have trouble breathing, so we tried to wait in the hallway until communion time. In the end, we couldnt march through the cloud of smoke to reach it, so we had to leave. Wont be coming back!
