5 /5 Steven: After almost a year late writing this review, Im finally coming around to it because, well, this place is pretty unforgettable. Im serious. I went with Big Deal for a corporate team building activity 10 months ago, and every few months, when a team member mentions how fantastic this experience was, I am reminded that I am a review procrastinator.
From an event planning perspective, this is a bet youll want to take. Wendy has this process down to a science, leaving only the fun parts of planning to you. Food: there are several food vendors and food options you can go with including sushi and a fresh crepe station. I went with their primary catering partner for passed apps and was given a list ranging from small bites to more hearty/filling appetizers. You could also add on additional items like cheeseboards (we ordered 2 and they came beautifully arranged). I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty everything was. My team also thought it was a hit.
The best part about Big Deal is how INCREDIBLE their team is. You could tell how much they enjoyed their job because of how vibrant and energetic they were. Everybody- from the dealers to food runners to person working coat check- went in overdrive with how well they cared for my team. The food runners were extra attentive and made a concerted effort to ensure people who had dietary restrictions were well fed. The dealers were charismatic, sociable, and excellent teachers. They went above and beyond to ensure my team had fun, regardless if they knew how to play.
Overall, cant recommend Big Deal enough. If you can only choose one event for the year, make it this one.
