Daniel Monroy This review is about this Spanish priest. Not the church in general. I’m sure there’s a lot of good and lovely people in this church. But in my experience he wasn’t one of them. I hate to do this but I just can’t get over it. It’s been a month since this happened and I just can’t believe how disrespectful this person was. This is a few of many examples of what he was doing the entire time. Context: I’m a photographer since 2016. And we’ve done tons of weddings. We were doing a wedding at this church and he called us to take some pictures of the groom before the ceremony started. (We run immediately to take the photos he asked) there’s no a single problem on that, but after he started questioning my partner if she was a professional? (she was doing the video)In front of all the people. We obviously felt very uncomfortable because he ask that in a way that made us feel uncomfortable. We ignored it, and kept doing or job as we were supposed to. As the ceremony went along he started calling me (photographer) to do this and that and was okay with that but obviously I felt uncomfortable because he was interrupting his speech just to tell me where to take the pictures from, and obviously that is going to be in the video. There was a moment he called me slow, in front of everyone, and also there was a time he wanted me to move to the other side, and I told him that I don’t wanted to move because if i move to the other side, I was going to appear in the video. He didn’t care and told me to move anyway and say “he thinks he knows more than me”. So i moved and appeared on the video because of him. After that he just kept giving me orders and saying where to take the picture and I just tayed quiet. He also told my partner that she wasn’t doing her job properly just because she moved a chair that he wanted out of the way. And there’s more things he say to us during the entire ceremony. Which ruined our video and unfortunately I have to see that many times while editing the video and I just can’t believe a person of God is supposed to humiliate someone in front of the entire congregation. He was obviously being abusive towards us, because we couldn’t say anything to him. It wasn’t his job to tell me what to do or where to take the pictures from. We are professionals and even if we weren’t, it wasn’t his responsibility to tell us what to do. That was a problem between us and the client. He interrupted the entire ceremony which was way worse.

Michael Chivelly My favorite church in Riverhead. I enjoy Mass. Friendly people. The Deacon is very good too. I attended a wake, he was very personal with the children and family.

Maria Isabel Maldonado This parish is absolutely gorgeous...it has a white stone altar...stained glass windows with different saints...the way of the cross images are big and impressive...the choir sings in tbe upper level in the back..the images of Our Lord and Our Lady on the sides of the altar are beautifully decorated with flowers and candles...the pews are really comfortable to get through even when other people are seating...they have an enclosed area for crying children so that parents feel at easy they are not bothering anybody else....the restrooms were very cleaned and stocked...the latin tridentine mass on Sundays is gorgeous and is the reason for me to drive half an hour....very private confessionals....beautiful big yard and very friendly priests...

Ryan Buhay If you are looking for a church to go to that’s truly bible-based, then this is the church. Pastor preaches amazing, invaluable sermons. Preaches as if there was a crowd of a thousand in the room. This church provides those who are lost spiritually with what they have been missing in their lives. Does not “modernize” the bible or the church music or any of that nonsense. True biblical doctrine. A church you can trust and feel at home at.
