Kevin Great place. They offer mass in Spanish. Also they have catechism for kids or teenagers. The architecture is wonderful and atmosphere is peaceful. The art on this church is symbolic. You should definitely visit this place.

Jason Chaput After 30 years of not going to a Catholic Church, I have recently attended Mass at Sacred Heart Church on Staten Island. I was very nervous about going, especially confession the day before on Saturday before Mothers Day. It was an Amazing experience of feeling like returning back to the most comfortable place you have been in your life. God Bless everyone and come to Sacred Heart Church. Roy Kim Best church in Staten Island ever, in my opinion! I’ve lived in Staten Island for 41 years, and they are the best I’ve known. I say that because they are humbly striving to live biblically-based lives for the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I’m not a member, but I serve here and enjoy the fellowship of believers in the larger Church, the body of Christ which is composed of all who believe and have tasted and seen the goodness of the Lord! Stop by a Sunday service to hear and see!

Lillian Candelaria Good morning My husband and I went there for the first time today was looking for a Christian church, that we could be member s of, however when we got there I guess they had just closed the doors for prayers and we were not let in. We’ve never been to a church where they prohibit you from going in the church when prayer is taking place. I guess they didn’t want interference, however I’m pretty sure Jesus would not have stooped us from partaking in prayer. I felt hurt and I got a little anxious . Therefore had to leave as I suffer from episodes of anxiety. You see you never know what that person has, or is going through etc… Prayer amongst believers may be what they needed. It’s a shame. Jeffrey Daurio A really nice parish church and a warm, friendly community. The pastor is fine but very tired. The guest monsignor is GREAT. A parish center and a gym but no school in the complex. There is a big parking lot with easy handicap accessible parking.

Pastor John Wroblewski is exceptional, natural , very nice, nice atmosphere, gospel reading, love when him and the other priest Michael, forgot his last name, he is no longer in our church, they both were very well prepared for gospel reading, very smooth talking, no reading from the bible , talking from memory, from the heart. Michael Maynard The oldest Roman Catholic Church on Staten Island! I attended Mass here for the first time last Sunday. St. Peter’s is the mother parish of Staten island and is also the oldest Roman Catholic church in the borough. I found the building to be very inspiring. Newer churches are not built like this anymore and the building is truly a sight to behold. Even if it may need some minor renovations and upkeep. The church appears to be in need of parishioners. Attendance was sparse and sincerely I hope more Catholics re-discover this parish. There is only one Mass every Sunday at noon with confessions available before Mass starting at 11AM. The Mass was done with reverence by Fr. Jerome, and the music and organ was also very nice. The indoor acoustics and sound system are a bit echoy and the liturgy was a bit hard to hear I think because of all the fans running. I’m sure it’s easier to hear in the cooler months without the fans. Overall, I was very moved and impressed with this church and I dont often see churches that are 124 years old. I hope more people start coming here and this is the most beautiful church on Staten Island in my humble opinion.

Aisha Arcangel Its been my home parish since I was 13. The staff is lovely, and the pastors here are so nice and welcoming. Cant see myself going to another church in my lifetime for as long as I live on Staten Island.

Aisha Arcangel I come to this church once a month for young adult Holy Hour. The pastor here is a riot and so very knowledgeable and friendly. They recently painted the interior of the church and have a brand new statue of St. Michael, along with a blessed relic. Its a beautiful church, with ample parking across the street.
