3 /5 Sean Cole: My wife and I are motorsport fans and we were excited to come out on a kid-free afternoon to have some friendly competition. The environment overall is great, little bit of everything for everyone. The racing simulators were fun and reasonably priced. The go karts were quick, fun, and responsive, making for an immersive racing experience. Truth be told the pricing is a little steep for an 8 minute race, I’d pay the $24 for a 15 minute race, no questions asked. I will say the particular group we raced with had some very aggressive racers mixed in that resulted in a crash and a lot of bumping to pass. I have no problem with aggressive driving, however, there is a time and place for it. If it were racing for placement rather than best time, then sure thing, go full throttle. We all watched the same video and agreed to the same rules. Leave space and pass safely. With that being said, I think the staff could be a touch more vigilant in keeping an eye out for racers like that and pull them off the track if need be. Stick to the racing line and make smart passing movements, don’t bully people out of the way and ruin other people’s track times.
