Bitter Honey - Rochester (NY)

5 /5 Canh Vo: Our first time at Bitter Honey was to celebrate my wife’s new journey and it quickly became one of our favorite date night spot! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming - sometimes it can be a bit chilly inside. We love their creative cocktails/mocktails and the tacos are always packed with fresh bold flavors. The staffs are friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit and they validate your pass if you choose to park across the street lot.

4 /5 Kosta Rica: Fresh Mexican food. Great drinks. Fast service. The ambiance is kind of dim and not super attractive. But the place seems pretty popular here.

4 /5 Giulia W: 5/5 for the spicy margarita! I also appreciate the server asking the level of spice desired, it was perfect. The food was also quite good, we got a chilaquiles and birria tacos. Very slow service for a pretty relaxed Thursday evening.

2 /5 Wanda Reynolds: Honestly, I dont like anything about my experience with the FOOD at this restaurant...other than the company & super dope ambiance nothing good here. The food that I ordered was so off-balance. It had no seasoning (the rice) and then the Chile Reno just ragged of hotness so hot I could not even eat it. I shouldve sent it back. It wasnt even worth a second bite. Nachos and tacos is what I would stick with. This is a Mexican Restaurant for goodness sakes!! The margarita wasnt even good. It had an aftertaste to it and tasted really weird. I will bot be back, unfortunately, I had high expectations.

5 /5 Jamie Bakleh: I’m surprised the overall review combined is only 4.3 stars. I love Bitter Honey—it’s consistently good all around. The apps, entrees, dessert, drinks, service overall. 10/10 for sure. I’ve never once ordered something from here that wasn’t delicious. Every server I’ve had was super polite and accommodating. Highly recommend.
