3 /5 James Perkins: Very pricey per hour rate based on frequency of faulty pinsetters and waiting for someone to fix. Owner/manager replied to my previous review, asking for understanding that there are "moody" pinsetters that are apparently being replaced. Thank you for the response. They/you stated that theyd "work with us" on our next visit.
When jammed, there were long waits to find someone to alert about the issue. Once, the person looked at us in a contemptible manner saying, "We know. Theres someone coming." We were four very nice people whod tipped well at the bar and we understand the complexities of business operations. Our plan was to stay for dinner. When we were there, the place was nearly empty, there was no customer pressure, and (frankly) no need for an hourly rate. We felt that we were a bother, even though we all are (excessively?) positive folks.
As a person in the service industry myself, Id suggest the issue would be better addressed proactively at the lanes by extending the time we had paid for bowling with extra time to compensate for the time it took for fixes to happen. That level of service would have kept us in house and ready to pay more for bowling, drinks and pizza. It was a missed chance to leave us with a positive impression and to get us back, especially after we had travelled exclusively to you at your location, and would have done so again.
