5 /5 Gary Z: “Established in 1802, the Bull’s Head Inn is the oldest and one of the most iconic landmarks in Cobleskill, NY. It offers relaxed, family-friendly dining, cozy comfort, and plenty of character, along with on-site entertainment.
Bull’s Head Inn serves excellent food and warm service, with a menu full of American comfort favorites like chicken pot pie, burgers, and fish and chips. Seasonal dishes appear throughout the year to keep things fresh. The place also carries a bit of haunted history, and some guests and staff have reported unusual events, including sightings of a ghost on the main staircase.
The Cellar Tavern adds even more to the experience. Its hours shift with the season, offering dinner on weekdays and both lunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays. The tavern brings the village to life with live music on weekends and trivia on Wednesday evenings.
If you’re planning to visit on a Friday or Sunday, ask for Stephanie. She’ll take great care of you.”
