4 /5 Lisa Blount: As someone new to the North Country, I can instantly tell this is one of those local spots you go to for the vibes. There’s a genuine community feeling inside…. warm, lively, a little nostalgic. The atmosphere was especially charming when I visited during the holiday season, and it felt like stepping into a classic hometown Christmas movie. We went specifically for the Tom and Jerry’s, and they did not disappoint. Frothy, festive, and perfectly balanced… they were honestly delicious and exactly what you want from a holiday cocktail. The food was hit or miss for me. I ordered the hot turkey sandwich, and while it was comforting in that diner-classic way, it definitely needed some salt and reminded me a bit of old-school cafeteria lunches. Not bad, just simple and a little under-seasoned. But even with the food being just okay, I would absolutely come back. The charm, the energy, and that unmistakable North Country nostalgia make it worth the visit, especially if you’re craving good company and a cheerful, small-town vibe.

It’s one of the most iconic and consistently recommended spots in town. Sold food that’s been done right forever (100 years) My go-to order is the turkey club, and it never misses. Thanksgiving turkey, thick, flavorful, filling, and exactly what you’re hoping for when you sit down. Crystal is one of those places in Watertown.

5 /5 Lisa Anderson: Our waitress Kayleigh was amazing. She took our entire order back to the kitchen without writing anything down. Everything was cooked to perfection and the Amaretto Tom and Jerry was the perfect touch to end our lunch.

3 /5 Nikhita Clere: We were visiting from out of state for the holidays and decided to stop by this place for lunch. The wait time was a but long and the food was decent. The atmosphere was really great though. We tried the famous tom and jerry cocktail. I personally dont like rum so I didnt like it but if you enjoy rum or cinnamon flavor, I’d recommend getting the drink. We also ordered, leg of lamb, chicken tenders, buffalo chicken tenders and buffalo chicken sandwich.

5 /5 Jose Martinez: I love this place for its rustic feel. When you walk in, youre transported back to the 1960s. I really like the design and the lamps, and the best part is that theyve kept that style. As for the food, its delicious. The best thing is that they have fresh turkey every day. I highly recommend them. They also have excellent table service.
