4 /5 Lisa Blount: As someone new to the North Country, I can instantly tell this is one of those local spots you go to for the vibes. There’s a genuine community feeling inside…. warm, lively, a little nostalgic. The atmosphere was especially charming when I visited during the holiday season, and it felt like stepping into a classic hometown Christmas movie.
We went specifically for the Tom and Jerry’s, and they did not disappoint. Frothy, festive, and perfectly balanced… they were honestly delicious and exactly what you want from a holiday cocktail.
The food was hit or miss for me. I ordered the hot turkey sandwich, and while it was comforting in that diner-classic way, it definitely needed some salt and reminded me a bit of old-school cafeteria lunches. Not bad, just simple and a little under-seasoned.
But even with the food being just okay, I would absolutely come back. The charm, the energy, and that unmistakable North Country nostalgia make it worth the visit, especially if you’re craving good company and a cheerful, small-town vibe.
