4 /5 Bryce Russell: We’ve eaten here several times in the last year. Meals always meet expectations. I feel they are one of the better Italian choices for the area. Very nice interior setting and great food with large portions to boot.
I will lament that our last visit was with my wife and my parents. This is a party of 4 and the restaurant was roughly at 40% occupancy. Not a particularly busy night at 5:45p on a Thursday in the winter. The service was less than friendly and took a somewhat rushed approach. I’ve noticed this trend in our last 2-3 visits. Considering that dropping $200 for meals feeding 4 ppl is not an issue for good food but when wait staff exhibit such a lack of patience in answering questions about the food and choices I question their choice of vocation. Maybe don’t choose a job that deals with the public if they irritate you so easily. My parents are elderly and I’m about 60 yrs old and at our respective ages we feel the lack of patience & tolerance from a younger wait staff person really dampened what should be an outstanding experience considering the food & ambience quality. Due to the general price of the food the tips should be quite beneficial at an establishment like this so service should be commensurate with that package. This is approaching a rant status so I’ll conclude by saying that management should be more aware of the service quality and how it reflects on their establishment. We all have bad days but maybe don’t share that experience with the guests through impatient service, it does affect the overall enjoyment of the evening and makes dropping a $35-40 tip feel like why? For what?
