1 /5 Gregg Herman: Bad diner vibe in a very nice room. The room is nicely built out with exposed brick, tin ceilings, stone bar, and nice light fixtures. Unfortunately the food and service dont match the room. I like to eat at a nice bar but it was taken over by laptops, papers, and other inappropriate paraphernalia apparently belonging to restaurant staff. I ordered a strip steak at a high top but the wait person didnt know what vegetables came with it. The "medley" of peppers, green beans and cherry tomatoes (?) seemed like an odd mix gathered from available options at the local supermarket. The steak and mashed potatoes were cold, despite there being very few occupied tables. The sad looking steak had no char or other flavor. The Finger Lakes Cab Franc was good. The place has no character. Do yourself a favor and just go to Parkers next door.
