4 /5 Izzy P: New years day brunch. Ordered a few options to share. Southern inspired menu is not extensive, but they have good options. Went for the loaded croquettes to start, moved onto the bacon, eggs and cheese sandwich (served on a biscuit) and the avocado toast that came with brisket, pickled onions and a poached egg. For something sweet, opted for the French toast with bananas. Croquettes were very good, the biscuit sandwich was missing something (a sauce, perhaps a bacon jam instead of bacon or a hot honey) and the brisket avo toast was very tasty. The bananas on the French toast needed a little more caramelization but the French toast itself was lovely. They did not not have too many non alcoholic drink options for coffees and juices. There is a fully stocked bar for those inclined. Our server, Brook was great - welcoming, got the order right, checked in on us a couple of times etc. I understand that there is a rooftop - would like to come back in warmer weather and give it a go. There is street parking but also a municipal lot just behind the restaurant.
