High Banks Tavern - Mt Morris (NY)

1 /5 Katie Russell: 0 stars all around. Quite literally the worst burger I have ever had. I never write reviews, but this food was unacceptable. I ordered the Swanson burger and it failed to have 90% of the toppings that are supposed to be on it including: lettuce, tomato, bbq sauce, onion rings, or pork. Ordered it pink and it was extremely overcooked. I understand ordering ‘with pink’ can be a lot to ask but if it’s an option not sure why ask and then deliver an extremely overcooked/burnt patty. Also I asked for pickled red onions to be added to my burger and got ‘add pickles’ ‘add red onion’ (which already come on the Swanson). Paid for a burger with all the works and got cheese, pickles and onions. That’s it. This is not acceptable! Overcharged for the extras and paid for a burnt, dry burger that had no toppings! Do not come here!

5 /5 Maikel Jose: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ A Fantastic Find! This place is absolutely wonderful! The food is amazing and the prices are excellent. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is very nice and welcoming. Its truly a great place with incredible value. I would drive all the way from Rochester just to visit again!

4 /5 Deanna Fowler: We ordered the Mac n cheese, fries, pulled pork sandwich, and onion rings. The Mac n cheese was some of the best we’d ever eaten. Portions were large. All of the food was tasty. Waitress was friendly and super helpful.

4 /5 San Dee: We had a solid evening at this place despite the wait. It was pretty busy, so we ended up waiting about 30 minutes to be seated. Once we got in, we ordered drinks and some food — the drinks were okay, nothing remarkable, but the food really hit the mark. The wraps and wings were flavorful and well-prepared. Our server was attentive and kept things moving once we sat down, which helped make up for the initial wait. The atmosphere was lively and fun, which made for a good backdrop to the meal.

5 /5 Erica I: I had a medium burger with bacon jam, pickled onions and cheddar and rosemary fries, and it was absolutely fantastic! We didnt have super high expectations but everything my party ordered was delicious!! I cant say enough good things about our visit. Especially our delightful waitress who was handling that whole dinner rush by herself. Im eating the leftovers for breakfast because its all I could think about :)
