5 /5 Tarisha Fleurmond: If you’re in Utica and looking for an unforgettable meal, I can’t recommend May’s Kitchen enough. This Haitian restaurant is run by an amazing woman whose warmth and passion truly shine through in every detail.
From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed like family. The service is attentive, friendly, and genuine—it’s clear that hospitality is just as important here as the food. And speaking of the food—it’s absolutely incredible. Every dish is rich with authentic Haitian flavors, cooked to perfection, and served with love. You can taste the care that goes into each plate, from the seasoning to the presentation. Dont forget to quench your thirst with her amazing passion fruit juice.
The vibe of the restaurant is just as special: comfortable, inviting, and full of energy. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger, share stories over a great meal, and come back again and again.
