4 /5 Mary Ulmer: Best bbq in town. They dont accept reservations, so if you have a large group, be sure the whole party is there or they wont seat you until they all arrive. Friendly staff, and you get generous portions for your sides. We had the whole menu and the pork and brisket combo. The whole menu comes with pulled pork, brisket, half rack of ribs, burnt ends, and the BBQ of the day, which today was half smoked chicken. You also get all 11 sides, which includes the premium sides. The collard greens were a bit salty, and we didnt care for the potato salad, but all the other sides were very good. The corn muffins with cinnamon butter were yummy. The whole menu costs $99 and will easily feed 5-6 people. If you go with the pork and brisket combo for $29, you get a large piece of brisket and a pile of pulled pork along with 2 sides. The combo is enough for 2 people. We added a corn muffin to the pork and brisket combo, and it was plenty for 2. They have a full bar and a nice selection of local craft beers as well as seltzer and other drinks available. Stop in and try it for yourself. You wont be disappointed.
