2 /5 F Taylor: Looks like a whole in the wall from the outside but once you’re inside, you feel as though you’re in an elevated space that captures the vibrant energy of the Bronx! Plenty of floor and bar seating to choose from and enough spacing between them as not to feel overcrowded by other patrons. The music is loud but not enough to prevent mid-volume conversation or place an order with the professional and amicable staff. The food is delicious and fresh and the cocktails are well crafted. Definitely would come again! UPDATE: Unfortunately, my third experience here was less than satisfactory. Friends and I arrived here for Happy Hour on 07/04/25 around 4:00PM. We ordered a few drinks and a few items from the Happy Hour menu including the mango margarita (decent), tamarind margarita (also decent), a glass of white wine (very dry and poor quality), yucca fries (which did not come with the normal house green sauce), chicken tenders, and wings ($10 for 4 wings). We then ordered wings from the regular menu; however, the bartender who was already inattentive as he was taking shots and distracted by his phone, placed an order for their holiday special which included 4 wings, fries, and a beer. We didn’t order the special and we didn’t receive a beer. I had to request that they take back the fries we did not order and that if we did order the special, we still didn’t receive all items listed. Essentially, we paid $14 for 4 wings due to this mishap. In addition, we ordered two Chamicos from the regular menu; however, the bartender made them with chiles which are not listed on the menu. I showed him and another bar back present what the drink is supposed to look like (which I took from my last visit) and they refuted my claim. The Chamicos were disgusting and we requested they be removed from the bill. There were only about three parties present at the restaurant totaling to approximately 10 people so we were disappointed by this experience. Maybe this is just a place to come late at night when the bartender named Fren is there because he is professional and attentive. I definitely will not return for any daytime hours should I return at all.

2 /5 Bronx HD: I researched this restaurant for a week before selecting it for my girfriends birthday. I have to tell ya it was the worst service one could ever expect from an establishment. Here goes some examples: The waitress was on her phone by the bar for most of our dinner. Not once did she check up on us. We did our best to be engaging and conversational with her to hopefully change her mood but it didnt work. My GF orderd a Lemon Drop Margarita and she stated they are not made that way, only as a Martini. One would have went over to the bartender to see if this drink could have been made. She just wasnt into her job at all. When the bill came, it was one price. When I checked it a day later, a CC processing fee was added which I was not informed about beforehand. Just shady if you ask me. I try to support local minority owned businesses but when I am serviced like how I was here, it makes me not want to do so again. I will say that the food was good. However, my Salmon was cooked well done without me requesting for it to be so. SMH. The atmoshphere was pleasing. But we all know Service is at the top. Buyer Beware and make sure all final fees are disclosed on your check before you leave this establishment.

5 /5 MRN OpCode: I came with my family on Tuesday and it was a bit busy, but the food was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. The waitresses Jocelyn and Catherine were very attentive at all times, and the manager, John, was very nice and helpful to everyone. I will definitely come back and recommend this place. A hidden gem in the Bronx.
