1 /5 Daniel: My family (of 3) were excited! We had never been to Hurleyville before and we had tickets to see a performance at the Performing Arts Centre. We had 45 minutes until showtime, so we thought we had plenty enough time to get a drink and perhaps a bite at Tango - the restaurant that was located right next door that was pretty quiet when we arrived. We waited 10 minutes at the table before it was cleaned and our order was taken. While we patiently waited we saw food and drinks going to a party of 4 that was seated well after us. We waited and waited but after a while we started getting nervous because the food hadnt come and we were worried about missing our performance. My wife went inside to see what was taking so long. After waiting 30 minutes for our food to arrive, it finally did but we only had only 5 minutes to eat it. After a few bites (all we had time for)we realized it wasnt worth the wait. My "Golden" sesame noodles were dripping in oil and my sons "California" veggie burger was nothing more than a pre-packaged "Dr. Praegers" burger (the worse of the worse when it comes to veggie burgers) and his fries were stale. All the manager could say was that our order took a long time because we didnt tell our waitress that we had a performance to attend to. Say what? What difference does that make? Does that mean you can slack off and/or give preferential treatment to others? We asked for to-go containers and our check. We also asked for at least partial compensation (drinks?) but the manager refused . All we were left with was the fun of taking smelly take-out containers with us into a small, crowded auditorium. It maytake 2 (or 4) to Tango BUT NEVER this 3 again!
* by the way, the only way I could eat the leftover noodles is by frying them (to burn off some of the oil) and adding vegetables (other than the included mushy zucchini) and tofu. I am afraid they will never be great but at least I wont be wasting food.
