2 /5 Tom Apple: I’ll start with the positive: the staff is genuinely kind and attentive. The woman who took my order unsure if she was the owner or an employee was exceptionally warm and welcoming, which I really appreciated.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to that same standard. The fried rice and chicken lo mein were both below par. The fried rice lacked flavor and substance, no real chicken to speak of, just a light touch of egg and green peas that looked and tasted canned. I’ve honestly had better fried rice from the freezer section at Sam’s Club, which is disappointing to say.
The lo mein was equally forgettable and not something I could finish. When two of the simplest, most foundational dishes on the menu miss the mark, it doesn’t inspire confidence in the rest.
They also serve sushi, and in my experience, restaurants that try to cover multiple cuisines can sometimes spread themselves too thin.
That said, it’s possible I caught them on an off day. Still, based on this visit, the food didn’t match the quality of the service.
