The Club at Silver Lake OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - Perry (NY)

3 /5 Kevin Clary: My wife and I had dinner at the restaurant for our anniversary. The Club has a great view of the lake and a nice atmosphere. The food, however, was a mixed experience. My wife had a salad and the salmon bruschetta. I had a salad and a strip steak ordered medium well. The salad bar was kind of ordinary with only iceberg lettuce, no carrots, no celery, and no spinach. My wife liked her salmon bruschetta. I did something I never done before by telling our waitress that my steak was far, far from medium well. It was rare, very red, very cold. To the restaurants credit, they gave me a discount on the steak price. I ended up taking the steak home and finished cooking it later that evening.

5 /5 Mik B: Our friends daughter- in- law "to be" had her wedding shower here. It was well done! The facility is bright and cheerful. The food was great. We had brunch for it was at 11am. Waffles, individual quiche type egg cups, yogurt with granola , and different variations of croissant sandwiches! Tasty!!!Perfect size for a shower. The staff was super kind and very good at waiting on us all. I would highly recommend this place for a function.

1 /5 Rob Dunbar: First, I love this course and the clubhouse. Always have. Ive been a member for 10 years now. Its always will kept with good food etc. Tonight however (May 24th) was beyond disappointing and flat out insulting. My wife and I golfed 9 holes with another couple and wanted to stay for dinner and drinks after the round. We were in no hurry and were simply looking forward to a quiet evening on the lake. The "Hostess" was nothing short of awful. I asked to sit outside on the deck which had numerous empty tables... I was told no instantly. Then she explained they were short staffed and we wouldnt be served for at least 25 minutes. I had NO PROBLEM with this and told her we were plenty capable of getting our own drinks from the bar and would wait patiently for dinner without a problem. Yet I was still told no and only given the option to sit at the bar. Confused, but my party and I did so and ordered a round. The bar tender was very pleasant. After sitting there for 5 minutes I observed that the tables on the outside deck were all still completely empty. So I again asked the hostess if we could just sit at any one of the empty tables... she again said she didnt have anyone to serve us. I again explained that I did not care and didnt need to be waited on, I just wanted to sit at an open table so we could enjoy the beautiful evening on the deck. She told me NO once again, and said my party of 4 was not allowed to sit outside despite there being no one out there. I am beyond disappointed and honestly insulted. This was piss poor at best. We asked for nothing. Didnt ask for service or to be waited on. WHAT A JOKE. WE were ready and willing to spend a couple hundred dollars and enjoy the evening. Id love to tell you it was a misunderstanding but I simply cant. Im not one to complain, but this was abysmal and complete incompetence.
