4 /5 Karen Vossler: We passed a very comfortable night at the Inn on our way to Quebec. The historic charm of the snow-covered, old building drew us in immediately. Check in was a breeze. Our host was incredibly accommodating, and we settled right in. We put a classic jazz album on the Bluetooth turntable in our room, and rested up before having an absolutely delicious meal in the restaurant downstairs. The cocktail list was inventive, and the delicious, seasonal menu was locally sourced and well-executed. Plus, the friendly staff were so helpful, and the meal so satisfying, we “bought a round for the kitchen” to show our appreciation. Slept well in our cozy beds and were off on our way in the morning. I would definitely recommend the Deer’s Head Inn for weary travelers and epicureans alike.
