03-2025 Beauty Garden Salon NYC in The Best 19 Hair Salon in Bronx, Bronx Country Zoye Beauty Salon - Bronx Rania: First time at this salon. I had my hair and makeup done, both were very nice. I have to say I did not enjoy the blow dry as it was a little on the rough side however the manager stepped in and made me feel comfortable with the final look. The makeup artist is very talented and quick. I would visit again for makeup and try out the nail technicians services as well.Meter pay stations are available on both sides of the street for ample amount of parking.
Nubian Hair Studio, LLC - Bronx Fatimah Calder: The service was great! I felt really comfortable getting my hair washed. The stylist was a great conversationalist. My only issue was the price change, I asked how much a wash and just a blow out ( no silk press) would be on the phone and was told $67 then got there and it was $88. Besides that the experience was great. If you want the basics I would advise to go somewhere a bit cheaper but if your getting an actual silk press I would advice to book since they are natural hair focused and won’t give you heat damage.
Studio Delaj - Bronx Elaine Nunez: Sokol was a true professional. The staff is welcoming. Sokol understood what I was looking to do. I am very careful with whom I cut my hair. As I told him, I have only had 5 stylists including him. Great work!
Bronxwood Natural Haircare - Bronx Cheryl B: UPDATE: Owner. I acknowledged that I forgot the locs. Your response proves you have no empathy, compassion, customer service and basic people skills. According to you, by the way I was asking and kept on repeating the same thing about letting my locs look good that "TROUBLE WAS COMING". So me, already not feeling good about my hair and asking you a question SEEKING REASSURANCE is "trouble coming"? NOTED. If you wanted to do my hair you wouldnt have walked away and let me walk out your store when I politely took off the towel. Nor would you respond and call me "trouble". Like I said, thank you for the negative experience. I went somewhere else, said the same thing and she laughed and said "dont worry, I got you". My hair is repaired, washed re-twisted and once again, I feel confident and pretty. Learn some compassion and be blessed.

I found this place on instagram. I contacted them and made an appointment to get a consultation, loc repair and re-twist. I get there and I forgot the locs I needed to repair. I ask if she can use fake hair, the owner says “she doesn’t have.” Okay, still ask for a re-twist. I’m up to wash and I say to say “can you make sure it looks good?” Remember, I forget the locs and she doesn’t have any fake hair. This wasn’t said because I don’t think she doesn’t know what she’s doing. This is because, I’m walking around with missing hair, I feel ugly and overall I’m nervous. Immediately, the lady says “I’m gonna do my job. I’ve been in the business 25 years. I don’t know what you mean by”make sure it look good”. At this point, I took off the towel and said let me go because I see that I offended you and I didn’t mean to offend you. Lady, you may be in this business 25 years but you have zero years of empathy, understanding, patience or customer service. If you did, you would know that I was not trying to be rude and my comments had nothing to do with your skillset or expertise but my confidence. Thank you for the negative experience.
Beato Beauty Salon and Barbershop - Bronx Phife: Sneak relaxer in the shampoo on natural hair. To be honest I should be suing this establishment. My hair smelled of burn and relaxer. My scalp itched and burned. Hair falling out in clumps. My worst nightmare. Concy did my hair and another woman with black shoulder length hair washed it. Beware of this salon. Untrustworthy.
Saras Beauty Salon - Bronx Amanda Correa-Suarez: She’s quite literally the best, hands down. I’ve been with Val for 8 years and I will never let another person touch my hair. She fixes color, she makes you feel beautiful, she listens to you and advises you on what’s best for your hair health. She is beautiful inside and out. I spend hours there for my blonde but I love it because that time flies with Val. Here’s some photos of my hair because of her magic. ✨ PS she doesn’t take walk ins and she’s booked often so expect to plan a trip to her ahead of time.
Nahel Beauty Salon - Bronx Aishat S: I respect the barber here and have known him since I was a child. Hes cool with everyone here and is apparently great at his job. However, for the ladies, the Spanish ladies here are ridiculously rude and give terrible services! I notice the Spanish customers are taken as more of a priority. Im simply getting my hair washed and blow dryer and Ive already been here for 2 hours. They left dry conditioner sitting in my hair for 30 minutes as of this writing and now I have to wait as she attends to 2 other Spanish customers before she continues mine. Now I understand why my sister stopped coming here. Today will be my last time too.
Edit: I didnt mention, but these ladies were talking bad about me and underestimating the fact that I was not Spanish. I took 3 years of Spanish and knew exactly what they were saying. This is such disgusting behavior since I was kind the first moment I walked in. Then they kept repeating the price of the hair style at least 5 times as if I couldnt afford it..
MindBodyHair Salon - Bronx Lynn Nakimera-Mahner: Amazing service and hospitality. The environment is clean and relaxing. Ebony is amazing and educates you about your hair which made me hopeful about my hair and increased my efforts of caring for it and my confidence. Shadai ( sorry if misspelled) is so kind and reassuring.
I am so grateful I found y’all and can confidently say that you’re one of the best hair stylists I have ever had in my life.
Carmen All Stars Beauty Salon & SPA - Bronx Marisa Medina: I was looking for a good hair salon near me and i came across Carmens. I walked and and was welcomed by Carmen. The store was very clean. Carmen did a great job with my color and highlights. I will be going back there for sure.
Mandys Hair & Spa - Bronx Helen G: honestly best place to get hair done, i had a couple of reference pictures and a goal and mandy got it done for me quickly and perfectly! i wanted burgundy hair and she gave me the exact color i wanted, styled and cut my hair the way i like it, and i came out a brand new person.
