    Dwight Simmons: This historic church is a must see on any trip to Brooklyn Heights. The statue of Beecher is on Orange street. Take some time and research his interesting life. Also, if you can get inside, there is a seat in the church with a plaque - Abraham Lincoln attended services here. As far as I know, he was the only sitting President to visit Brooklyn.

There is an low key, welcoming atmosphere here that makes you at home. The meals are delicious, and the people working there are wonderful.
