I scheduled an appointment a week ago for a full set of hybrid lashes priced at $165. I have been getting my lashes done for over 10 years and know how to properly care for them. I initially chose this place based on the reviews, but after my experience, I strongly suspect that many of those reviews are misleading or even paid for (see my photos for reference and judge for yourself).
The lashes looked fine for the first few days, but then they began to hurt. Upon closer inspection, I noticed they were applied improperly—sticking to 2-3 natural lashes at a time instead of being properly isolated. Concerned about potential damage, I reached out to the owner via Instagram and requested an appointment to have them checked. Since I recently moved here and just started a new job, my availability was limited, but I made time to come in.
When I arrived, they inspected my lashes and confirmed they were not damaged, but the discomfort was due to improper application—the extensions were placed on my eyelid instead of my natural lashes. While they kindly removed them at no charge (along with a nail removal service), they refused to offer any refund or discount for the poor application. I consulted three experienced lash technicians I’ve used in the past, and all agreed that if these lashes had remained on longer, I could have lost a significant amount of my natural lashes.
Instead of taking accountability, the owner (a young man at the front desk) claimed they have a two-day refund policy but could not provide any written proof of this. When asked, he stated it was on their website, yet after thoroughly checking, I found no such policy. Under consumer law, a business cannot enforce a policy that is not clearly stated or disclosed, which is highly questionable and potentially illegal.
If this is a new business, I strongly recommend they address these serious issues—establishing clear policies, properly training technicians, and fostering a client-focused atmosphere—to avoid further complaints, lost customers, or even legal consequences. If you are considering booking here, I urge you to do your research and proceed with caution.
