This time around after my haircut, I decided a few days later that I wanted my front pieces a little shorter, and she fit me right in that week and quickly fixed me up free of charge. I highly recommend a haircut at Bloom overall as well, the atmosphere is awesome and everyone who works there is friendly and kind.

Frank (the absolute best colorist) did a super natural balayage with the best tone, and Drew gave me an incredible cut! Not only did she cut, but she also hand washed, deep conditioned, steamed and styled my hair using products appropriate for my needs. I left Beauty Cave not only with an expert cut, but also a better understanding of how to treat my own hair in between cuts for optimal and easily wearable results. Located in a high-end shopping area on 59th street, LL New York Beauty Salon becomes THE destination for anyone looking to transform their look and look their best. Lazaro gave me a whole new look in terms of color and cut. He is a visionary artist who immediately wins you over with his personality and will make you a regular client based on the quality of his work. I was stopped twice on my way home from the salon by people asking me about my hair. I did not have a hair cut, I had a hair experience. Book in advance because, between fashion weeks around the globe and the most loyal clients of anyone, appointments are in demand. Bravo Lazaro!!!

Jayleen Andrea: Ever since I moved to NY i struggled for so long to find a salon that is able to do a really good blowout on my curly hair and that wont charge me 76 bucks for a wash and blow dry and wont charge me extra for straightening my curly hair because they suck at blow drying. Do yourself the favor and come here and get your hair done with Carina(I think thats her name or Katrina), she is amazing!! I have gotten several Dominican blowouts in Jersey and my scalp felt fried. Not once did my scalp burn here at Dolores. Everyone there is so friendly and hilarious! Cant wait to go back! Also have amazing prices and they leave your hair beautiful with a long lasting blow out.

Paula Maouyo: I just came across this gem, thanks to recommendations I got after asking for braiding stylist recs in UWS on the Nextdoor app. I have absolutely loved my experiences here so far. I got my hair shampooed/conditioned & then box braids. Marcia shampooed my hair and wow the scalp massage was incredible plus she was so gentle with my edges (which are finicky). Best shampoo I’ve ever gotten. Kim did my box braids, and they were tight enough but not too tight, just beautiful. She listened to what I was going for and asked clarifying questions. Also I love her energy just in general. This whole salon is delightful, clean, professional. I am so glad to have found a great neighborhood spot I can keep going back for many years to come!
