Truth and Love Photography: Michael hired me to capture his surprise proposal moment near Empire Fulton Ferry and this special moment was incredible and beautiful to capture between him and his girlfriend. She totally didn’t expect it at all but what’s amazing about this moment is that I captured exactly what he was looking for. He wanted his proposal and engagement photos to showcase New York City as well. If you’re looking to do your proposal here or capture your engagement photo shoot, this Empire Fulton Ferry area is one of the best spots to absolutely utilize.
Josh Pugh: If youre looking for a function space or an area to host an event, look no further than the Old Stone House.
Not only is the venue truly wonderful, the people behind it are even better. They are supportive, helpful, driven, and truly want you to succeed.
We recently hosted a large event at the Old Stone House and all throughout the team at the Old Stone House were happy to help at every turn.
I highly recommend this space for all your concerts, galas, performances, barbecues, and more.
Jessica Davila: Loved this laid back hip place for stage presentations of up and coming plays. Kind of like an underground theater. Their coffee is also very good.
Mike Z: Site of the former railroad terminal, the park went long ways from its industrial past. The main attraction for me was a waterfront with sweeping views of Manhattan skyline. Direct access to East River shore is distinguishing feature of this park.
Kristen L. Matulis: Walt Whitman Park, which is adjacent to Cadman Plaza Park, is a lovely green space to enjoy the outdoors in Brooklyn!! This space is clean, well-kept, and is usually not too crowded. This is a beautiful area to explore!
Carl K: Really interesting and well kept museum in a very unassuming place. Scott proactively invited me while walking in the garden and gave a great tour. It felt like the owner of the house invited me and tell the history of the house. A quintessential experience.
Also must mention how clean the toilets were. Those toilets re open to public and kept crazy clean. Kudos to the museum employees and the community around.
Jay Miner: Unbelievable little enclave of the enormous prospect park. While it could use restoration for the pond/wildlife the natural beauty of this area is still prominent and birds frequent the space singing their songs for anybody who chooses to stop and relax on one of the benches
Virtuos: Just a small little place, we were there around night time. It offers a MESMERIZING view of NYC skyline. It seemed kind of hidden. Its pretty easy reachable through the Brooklyn Bridge Park.
