5 /5 Grace Singer: I loved the roof-stoop event I attended here on Sunday. My group came for a bachelorette party - we wanted to do something casual and covid-safe. This was perfect. The food was out of this world - I’m going to be thinking about that matcha dessert forever. The drinks were delicious and creative too. Half of my group was drinking alcohol and the other half was drinking non-alcoholic beverages - there were tons of creative options for both types. The views are insane. Lots of great photo spots.
5 /5 emily hawkins: There is so much to love about Brooklyn Grange @ Sunset Park. It was important to me to choose a wedding venue that was already beautiful, so we didnt have to spend time and money on beautifying an empty space. It was also really important to me to choose a venue with a solid rain-alternative. BG@SP ticked both of those boxes -- its stunning without any embellishment, meaning we only had to add decor that we truly loved and was meaningful to us. And it was indeed raining, windy, and cold on our wedding day, so being able to move the ceremony inside without any drama was such a relief. After 5 minutes of mourning the outdoor ceremony wed hoped for, it became clear that an indoor ceremony was the absolute best option - not only because it was raining - but because the reception space overlooks a spectacular view and was so warm and cozy. Claire, Alex, and the whole BG team were great to work with - excellent communicators throughout the 12+ month planning process. I also love that Brooklyn Grange has a mission far beyond being an events space. We felt really proud to bring our family and friends to such a unique and important Brooklyn institution committed to serving and improving the city we love and call home.
5 /5 Miyuki Abe: I was at July 4th event in 2021, and I loved every moment of it!! We enjoyed the meal, unlimited wine/beer, great farm atmosphere, and beautiful view. Macy’s midtown fireworks were a bit far but, we could still see a lot of fireworks happening everywhere from the roof. Food: MEAT option: Cheeseburger- Pickles, Seasonal Veg VEG option: Black and Cannellini bean burger- Tomato Compote, Garbanzo bean aioli SIDES: Lobster roll , Wings- Schezwan dry rub, Grilled corn, Brooklyn Grange Green Salad, Brooklyn Grange Cucumber salad DESSERT: La newyorkina pops- Mango w/ Chile, Coconut, Pink Limeade Drinks: Welcome Cocktail BEER: Bronx Brewery (BX), Sunday Beer (BK), The Flagship Brewing Company (SI) WINE: Red, White, Rose (organic + biodynamic) Non-alcoholic options
4 /5 Michelle Li: The space is beautiful inside and out. There’s outdoor and indoor seating, every spot has great views of the garden and the city. The alcohol selection was so-so, would have been nice if they had a Pilsner or a cocktail option. The food was delicious but the portions were small, most people won’t find it enough for a full meal. Loved that they used reusable napkins, but was troubled by the single-use cups and chopsticks.
5 /5 Nils Paellmann: Beautiful garden rooftop with superb views of the city. Fresh produce grown (and sold) right here in beautifully maintained gardens.

    Fort Greene Park
Yusuf Yassin: Hands down the best park in New York. The vibe is always amazing with friendly people, sweet dogs, and plenty of spots to relax and connect with nature. Whether you’re laying on the grass, walking around, or just people watching, it’s the perfect place to unwind. My favorite part is the tennis courts. I could chill there for hours just watching people play. It’s also a great spot for kids to hang out. Just an all around lovely place
Center for Brooklyn History - Brooklyn
    Center for Brooklyn History
Paris Zhang: A lovely short visit to the Center for Brooklyn History on Saturday. It’s a small but charming space combining exhibitions and a library focused on Brooklyn’s history. The first floor features a community area, a small gift shop, and exhibits, while the second floor houses a beautiful old library. It’s a peaceful spot to relax during your Brooklyn visit. Unlike regular public libraries, the collections here are non-circulating, and coats and bags must be checked before entering the research space.
