2 /5 Michelle Ngai: My husband got Invisalign and the overall process was decent. His trays were always ready when the team said they’d be ready and his teeth are straight. The big problem was when it came time to remove his attachments, whoever did the job was WAY too aggressive. They damaged his enamel to the point where there were visible gouges in several of his teeth. When my husband brought it up, they asked if he brushed his teeth too hard. When he called back later after confirming with our dentist that the damage was indeed caused by the attachment removal process, Celebrating Smiles said that my husband’s teeth had cavities and would most likely need new fillings anyway…and then they said they’d pay for repair costs. It’s been a couple of months, and my husband is still dealing with sensitivity and repair issues.
Make sure to ask for them to be EXTRA gentle when you are getting your attachments removed.
