5 /5 Juhyae Kim: I lived in Ithaca and attended Christ Chapel for 3 years before moving away recently. Each pastor here preaches wonderfully Biblical sermons, and the church body is incredibly welcoming and healthy. As a grad student, I especially appreciated how much the church cares for students while encouraging intergenerational fellowship through life groups and various ministry opportunities. I found many wise mentors and caring friends here, and I highly recommend visiting if you are searching for a church in Ithaca!

5 /5 Mays Cortez: I started attending this church in February/March 2021. I was so amazed at how well they were able to handle the COVID pandemic situation. I was impressed by their commitment to health and safety while still engaging people in meaningful ways to build community (like have Zoom fellowship after church). Years later, I’m still in awe at the commitment to community-building and fellowship, while being mindful and prayerful about world events and news. I love my Christ Chapel family and am so grateful to God for guiding me to this church. The sermons are Bible-based and theologically rich yet accessible to broad audiences, the music is a mix of contemporary and hymns, and there are many ways go get plugged into fellowship and ministry beyond just attending Sunday mornings. I’ve grown so much in my faith and knowledge and leadership skills and so much more by serving at Christ Chapel. Christian community is special in Ithaca, and I definitely encourage believers who are new to the area to check out Christ Chapel… or if you’re just exploring Christianity, you’re very welcome too!

5 /5 Jadon Buzzard: We love Christ Chapel! My wife and I (and our small daugter) moved to Ithaca last year for my PhD at Cornell. We made a list of churches we wanted to visit, and Christ Chapel happened to be at the top. We visited once and stayed! The church has been absolutely essential to our integration into the Ithaca community. Pastor Steve, Pastor Ben, and all the staff care so well for the church family, strongly emphasizing the importance of Christian fellowship.

5 /5 Corey Finch: My wife and I were married here 10 years ago. Pastor Felker provided wonderful marriage counseling and the wedding service was just perfect. Today, ten years later we are in town celebrating our ten year anniversary, and stopped in for the service Sunday morning. The worship was uplifting and spirit-filled, and the sermon was biblical, insightful, and filled with historical context that I very much appreciate. Regrettably we didnt have much time to spend there after service, but the few people we chatted with were friendly. If we lived nearby, wed certainly be attending. Thank you Christ Chapel for continuing to expand Gods kingdom.

Life pro tip from someone who attended this church for many years during grad school: get away from campus once a week and into the real world. At Christ Chapel you’ll make friends of all ages while hearing a gospel-centered message. One of the best churches in town and great for non-students too!
