4 /5 Mona P.: It was a blessed experience to worship with the congregation of the Church of the Revelation! Everything was done well and in order and I truly enjoyed the Pastors wifes sermon. She was interesting, jovial and told the truth about how some of us are living sinfully and we need to confess, repent and get right with Jesus.

Also they have a great team that work with the kids to help them work towards a bigger and better future. Definitely is a hospital for the lost and needy. 5 /5 aljanay hall: I haven’t been to this church in over 17 years ( Time flies ! )as I moved out of Newyork , Am currently 29 & will be 30 this year and I can vividly remember the impact this church had on me . Bible study , Easter events , church trips during the winter to rocker fella to ice skate , I can vividly see the church filled with people and everybody worshipping , I can even remember the songs that touched me ! I lived on Leland ave almost my whole life which was only two blocks down so I would walk here by my self every Sunday / event to church . This church is the epitome of nostalgic. It will forever be engraved to my life , I will be returning to this church once I revisit NY … as I stated it’s been over 17 years when I was a pre teen so I know many of the congregation is no longer there but I do hope when I return it’s the same feeling I felt as a kid that feeling never goes away so I’ll know !

A a member of this community and this church and a person that for 4 years straight every year from my taxes I donate to this church,and every time I go to mass my 10% is donated. On 12/19/2024 I had a stroke omw to work. So I am home,Ill be back to work 3/19/2025 I am still having problems to collect my unemployment because I am a victim of fraud. Yesterday morning 2/19/2025 the priest that conducts the 7 or 8 am mass on my way to take my children to school I stop by the church to ask for some help I didnt ask for money I ask if they was able to help me to put some luch on my children lunch boxes. This priest looks at my face and laught and ask me if I was on a restaurant mind you Im crying because Im desperate my children havent eat since Sunday and is Tuesday morning. This men of God laught at my face and told me,again you are not listening,is this a restaurant? No sir,this is not a restaurant I just need help. As a member of this church and the community all Im asking is for my children to have something to eat. I do not care if I dont get anything to eat all I want is for them to have something. He said well I dont know what to tell you this is not a restaurant. By now Im getting upset so I said to him ok then if this is not a restaurant theres nothing to eat here can you send me with one of your church people here and buy them some breakfast I mean thats why the 10% is for to help the church and the community in need and I am in need. This men of God look at me and told me well this is what I can do for you. Ill be asking every mass that I conduct for them to bring some food,so come back Sunday at 10 am. I have never been so humiliate by someone and what is the worse a priest the men who swore to defend his people and to help his church. I could not believe this person treat it me like that. Please if you can find another church to visit do so because if a church denies children some food what else can be happening in that place. And tbh that guy looks like he was drunk every time I see this guy his eyes are bood red and he smells like alcohol but Im not nobody to judge. But since he wa the one who laught at my hungry children Ill be waiting in every place I see this church. This can not be happening is our chuchus this is our place of comfort of help. I can stop crying

Alexandra Aguirre: THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!!!!! Came here for my confirmation back in 2011, I received my sacraments at this location. My mother goes to pick up my certificate and they tell her its over at St. Jeromes and when she goes my certificate is no where to be found. So if i do want my certificate they said i would have to redo it. Yet they didnt offer an apology and still took my weekends away & the money to begin this. DONT COME HERE. GO TO ST. LUKES MAYBE THEYLL BE BETTER

John Iazzetti: St. Barnabas is a large, vibrant parish with something for everyone. (The bulletin is a little drab but that’s nothing) Masses have good attendance, collections seem to be generous, funding the many parish activities. The parish is also home to a large Irish population and no surprise, they are very friendly and welcoming. I go to mass here because they have a 7:30am Sunday mass which is very convenient for an early riser. It’s a bit out of the way for me otherwise I would consider it my parish.
