With my thick and curly hair finding a new stylist can be quite challenging, but Johanny proved to be a true gem. She did an amazing job with my blowout, and was very kind & attentive all throughout my visit. The atmosphere was chill, and I felt at ease. Without a doubt, I’ve found my new go-to salon!

4 /5 Alicia Riley: I found this place on TikTok. Decided to give it a try because I really just needed a wash and blow out. They saw me right away. The ladies were very nice. They washed and conditioned my hair then blew it out and trimmed my very damaged ends. I was going to get my hair brushed right after so I didn’t need a full service. I think they can actually grow my hair. I’ll definitely be going back. The lady washed my hair very well. No more flakes and she left my hair and scalp feeling soooooo clean and smelling good.

Jaycrylics: I booked a same day appointment on style seat. The service was fast and the stylist was very gentle with my hair. After my hair was curled the stylist recommended pin curls and did them for me. My hair reverted back to curls when I washed it. I paid for my service in full on styleseat ($51) but as I was getting my hair blown out I was told that the style would be $65 instead. My hair also had that burnt smell when you get it done with aloe of heat. Overall, my hair lasted longer than a week which surprised me and outweighed anything else that happened. I would recommend this shop but walking in rather than booking online is your best bet.

Analyssa Sainz: On March 24th I went to the salon and got my hair colored by Michael. Attached is a reference picture of what I wanted and what I ended up with. The process Michael put my hair through is not one that I would want anyone else to experience. Although he was nice, the outcome of my hair shows that he was not knowledgeable or honest about executing my desired request. When a client asks for something I believe the stylist should be honest about their skillset and not just execute what they think is best. I found the salon to be a great place with nice employees minus the color I ended up with. Alex Jorge and Michelle did their best to accommodate me and tried to correct the work Michael did which was appreciated. Last photos show the color correction I had done yesterday after giving my hair sometime to rest. Thankfully after 6 hours I was able to get the desired color I wanted before my wedding.

Cara Zukerman: Ive been a client at LeChic for years, specifically of Yvette. The salon itself is stylish and clean. The staff is fun and honest, attentive and absolutely ready to help at all times. Im here posting a review because I wanted to write specifically about Yvette-- Im just so grateful to have her in my life. Ive been her client for well over twenty years-- she is incredibly skilled and has seen me from pre-motherhood to kids in college, with all the hair needs that flow through those years, and shes never once steered me wrong. Yvette takes the time to hear me out, making recommendations where I need them... I trust her implicitly, and Ive never once, in all that time, left her chair not feeling fabulous (shes also a fantastic therapist!). Yvette knows all the latest trends, has been trained by the best (both here and abroad), and has the skills to rival any stylist in Manhattan. Shes a gift.

Blinera Roman: Firstly I had been in communication with this salon via instagram dms where we confirmed I’d be coming around 9am. I was made to wait 20 mins before someone came and asked exactly what I wanted. I proceeded to show the stylist who then informed me I’d need to bleach my hair which is not true as other stylist have said different. I was trying to go for a dark burgundy color. The salon did not realise I am Albanian and proceeded to talk crap about me in Albanian saying how I should go do it elsewhere if that’s what other stylists said. Would not recommend, horrible people and don’t go if you’re not Albanian because they will talk crap about you and you won’t even know. Per ket pun nuk esht halal për ti ndihmuar shqiptart në biznes.

Viannie D.: DO NOT GET A HAIRCUT HERE!!! I went for a haircut and a wash and set. I specifically told her I wanted layers but that I didn’t want to cut off too much. She started cutting my hair didn’t even ask me if the length she was going to cut was ok, she just proceeded to cut and chopped half of my hair off. She saw how upset I was and just told me that I needed AND charged me full price ($70). Didn’t even have the courtesy to give a discount knowing she messed up my haircut. I will never go back and I do not recommend this place!! Please be careful!!
