1 /5 Janet Hicks_Doland: Made an apt for my son to have wisdom teeth pulled. First apt canceled because they said his insurance was no good then I refaced everything to the office and on the second apt Insurance was good , I filled out forms which took about 15 min the reception ist was very helpfull and respectful when I fi ished the papers I stood up and was waiting a minute or two because I saw her go to the back but not come back but I saw the dentist helper with scrubs stood at the window so I stayed standing . I am visually impaired so I must have missed her come back in and the girl in scrubs says with a snide remark you need to come to the front of the window nobody can see you in the corner so I said Im sorry I did not see her there . A few minutes later she called my son back we went back and she said you have to stand here and let me do so I said ok she explained what to do to him and he had to bite down on a hard o next and bend slightly forward while she left the room a d took a 360 x-ray of his whole mouth he was excellent for it ,then she said come in here a d we sat down and waited for the dentist which came in and looked at the X-ray and him and again my son was excellent talked to the Dr and then the Dr told me he cant do Waynes teeth couldnt accommodate him so I asked what was wrong if he was worried how he Handels the dentist I told him he had had his other wisdoms pulled a d other teeth work by Dr Berg who unfortunately retired he said Im not Dr Berg with a snide voice stuck his hand in my face to shake it a second time and said got to a other place the helper said to me its better for him not us to go to the other place I. Case he has a behavior from hearing a cracking noise I said you dont use sedation here is that the issue and she said yes but not for him so I said he does well in the small office r you telling me he has to go be traumatised at a hospital setting to have his teeth pulled and she yelled in my face if thats how you feel you need to leave anyway go someplace else began shovi g us towards the door and saying to the receptionist give her the number for the other place . It was a horrible experience except for the reception ist who did all she could to help me .if they do t treat special needs individuals they should say so up front they new when taking x-ray and talking to me I would have rather left with an explanation that they dont take special needs patients then they pick and choose
