John Imhoff: My dad has been here for about 2-weeks. The care he gets is very good. He is comfortable, clean, interacted with and challenged to try and get better. Very happy with his care.
Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital: Emergency Room - Bath
Theresa Winchell: The only star it deserves is the nurse that was there to help us. I agree, this place should be shut down. I took my husband to that hospital the other night. His had was bruised and swollen. We walked in, my husband sat down on the bed and a woman in blue smocks came in and looked at it and said it was from jamming it. I argued with her and she actually asked me if I had been drinking. I was furious. I took my husband to our family doctor and he said it was not from it getting jammed but a bug bite. His had is still purple by the way. It angers me that a medical person can come in and make a diagnosis before asking any questions and make assumptions that are incorrect. We pay hard earned money to have our medical needs taken care of in a good way. This was not a good experience. We will not go there again. I complained to the emergency room administrator and the nurse. They both apologized for that medical womans behavior but it still does not make it okay. I may still call administration/supervisiory and complain

Tom Murphy: I went in with my wife for her radiology appointment to keep her company . At sign in desk they asked for Identification which I gladly supplied . Just about to go in and the woman then asked me are you vaccinated and can I see proof of vaccination? She did not ask my wife these questions or the 2 people that were right in front of us . Why was I arbitrarily asked this question and to show proof ? We were referred from their other Northwell radiology building right across the street and have never been asked these questions or to show proof of vaccination . As a matter of fact I was there less than a week ago . If it is a new procedure why isn’t it applied to everyone?
Northwell Health - riverhead - Riverhead
Mary Mcpherson: The emergency is horrible. They have you back here waiting for houis. People all in the hallway, They are very unorganized. It took about an hour and a 1/2 for someone come to see my resident. I had asked for a blanket for my resident 2 hours to bring it to her. They need to be more organized in the emergency room

Colleen Varley: Recently had an outpatient surgery 2/14/25 by Dr. Brian McKenna. He is a very experienced and knowledgeable doctor with a warm caring personality. My experience at this hospital was comforting in the care provided by all. From the pre surgical visit, admissions to the pre-operative area all went smoothly. The pre-surgical nurses Anna and Louisa were excellent and attentive. Anesthesia assistant Jerry was so nice, knowledgeable and was very reassuring with how everything was going to be administered. The recovery area nurse (unfortunately did not get her name) she was on an extra day but usually works on the cardiac care unit, again super and very nice. Overall experience was excellent.

Jenna Geiser: My first visit to Dr. Sinha was for a physical issue from a chronic condition. She was supportive and helpful and got me the care I needed. I loved the experience. However, I recently went to her for advice on mental health treatment, and now I feel so hurt and betrayed. She tried to push me into visiting or checking into a facility immediately (I was not experiencing any immediate symptoms to warrant that action - I explained repeatedly that in the past I had experienced extreme emergency symptoms, I was getting treatment and they had improved, but now I felt like my conditions were starting to worsen again which was why I was there for guidance on what I should do next for my care). She called the police without informing me or asking for my consent, so they could convince me to go to a facility on her behalf. I suffered an anxiety attack from the shock of her choice and suddenly having to explain my personal medical situation to people I did not know. My apparent distress made everyone pressure me more to get a level of treatment that seemed extreme. I told her this wasnt helping me, it was hurting me. She didnt even say goodbye or check in on me after the officers realized there was no reason to detain me like this and finally left. I feel so betrayed. I wont return to the office again. I have never had a care provider break my heart this way.
