5 /5 Laura Bower: My family moved to Westchester in 2015 and we began actively searching for a church. We were so lucky that we didnt have to look for very long because as soon as we arrived at Hitchcock we knew it was the church for us. We immediately felt welcomed, supported, and loved. There is so much to be involved with at Hitchcock -- plentiful service opportunities like the Angel Tree program at Christmas time and the Midnight Run throughout the year, the excellent youth programs (my children love attending Wednesdays at Hitchcock, which includes choir, dinner and youth forum/senior highs -- it is a highlight of the week for them!) mission trips and community building activities like the annual Chili Cook-off and the Holiday Christmas Carol sing-along. The sermons are always thought-provoking and inspiring and the music, led by Dr. John King, is always sensational and uplifting. Hitchcock is such a special place and we are so fortunate to be members.

5 /5 Marion Latham: I simply love this church. It initially sustained me through a pandemic & caring for my sister then welcomed me when I walked through its doors. It is where I find my center and balance in a difficult changing world. It feeds my soul & gives me hope, enriches my life and includes me in a diverse community that is driven by "love God; love your neighbor" Life: 101. I am truly blessed to have found them.

5 /5 Du Zhang: My husband and I found this church through their Christmas Eve live service in 2022, and have been attending ever since. Well grounded in the reformed faith and a lovingly welcoming community with congregants coming from diverse backgrounds. The music leadership is excellent and great preaching too (particularly how it challenges us to stay true to the loving and reconciling message of the Gospel not least in this current divisive time). Strongly recommend attending the Good Friday Tenebrae service.

5 /5 Steve Taylor: We moved to White Plains in 1997 and began looking for a church shortly thereafter. After our first visit to Hitchcock we stopped looking and have stayed for 25 years. Friendly people, beautiful sanctuary, great music and kids programs, a surprisingly diverse congregation, thoughtful sermons, Bible study. LGBT-affirming. Even if youre not into the "church thing" there are still many opportunities to participate - feeding the homeless, English conversation, a thrift store, a community chorus, 12-step programs, Boy Scouts - all occur within the walls of Hitchcock. Were so glad we found it.

Wonderful pastoral care; exceptional music; friendly, engaged, roll-up-your-sleeves-and-do-stuff fellow-congregants; beautiful sanctuary; multiple opportunities to join others in helping make the world a better place, if you have the time and heart to do so. Forever grateful for this amazing place.
