Travawn Hopkins: You will feel the presence of the Lord in the atmosphere. Praise and worship is a must. Plenty of opportunities to get fed with the word of God.
First Unitarian Church of Rochester - Rochester
Mark Bangs: Really interesting. The service aas not Christian based. The theme was about the season we are in...outdoors and withing ourselves for those who are in that place. So, it was a MUD holiday. Which is perfect given what we have outside. And ee wete all inveted to celebrate the mud season with mud spread on our foreheads or hands. It was coordinated by all three Ministers. There was also an intentions and blessings ceremony for welcoming our youngest members ( mostly babies ) into our world. It also came with intentional vow by the church members to guide these children as they need and/or want to become...allowing them to grow without control and expectstions of family and all those that come to intereact with these earthly blessings. Afterward, I spent a fair amount of time speaking to several members about groups that I could join and do outreach work in our community and society. The Ministers and members were very welcoming.....just remember to put yourself out there. They are very responsive.

Browncroft Community Church - Rochester
Heather Conlan: My family and I have been attending Browncroft Community Church since we moved to the area almost 4 years ago. Browncroft has something for everyone with the goal of growing your relationship with God. Pastor Rob leads his sermons with an open heart and has a clear message that always ties directly back to Scripture. The music is phenomenal and always moves my soul as another way to worship God. The children’s ministry is out of this world - my children, which cover a large age span, always come home with new knowledge and understanding of Bible stories. Watching their faith grow as they love to attend church is more than I could ask for! Browncroft’s mission to reach others is mobilized through their multitude of opportunities to serve - whether locally or globally. In addition, Browncroft encourages and supports small groups, which creates an atmosphere of a small church feel in a large church setting. The Bible studies and small groups that I have attended here have greatly strengthened my faith and created a strong, authentic church family. I cannot say enough positive things about Browncroft - this church has truly blessed me and my family. So, if you are in the area, come and visit … you may find this to be your church family too!
