    Aysa Morehead: DO NOT go here, DO NOT let your insurance send you here - these people are dishonest and dishonorable, They destroyed my daughters car and refused to take any responsibility for the damage they caused. When we brought it in it had a dent in the back but was running perfectly fine. They were supposed to do a quote and then fix the car because of a fender bender that was not our fault. Instead, while doing the ""quote". They ripped the back half of the car apart, issued the insurance company a greatly inflated estimate so they "totaled" the car and when we were arranging to pick it up they told us what they had done and that they wouldnt put it back the way we brought it to them. Please see the before and after pictures the first picture is when we brought it to them (Small dent, nothing loose, driving perfectly, even the taillight worked) the next 2 pictures shows what they did to it and refused to fix. We didnt want them to make it perfect, we just wanted them to put it back the way it was when we brought it to them, they refused and were nasty about it.. We have to get it towed and have someone (reputable) else fix it. They completely refuse to take any responsibility for the damage they caused, and it seems like they do this often. I saw another couple picking up their car upset with a similar issue. The lady in the office was so nice when we brought it in, I felt like I could trust them and boy was I wrong. I am just disgusted by the way we were treated, and with this companys complete lack of decency and accountability. What they did to my daughters car was . Do yourself a favor go anywhere else.

    Francis Howell: My aging vehicle was dropped off for braking issues. $50 to hook up to the computer and diagnose issue - fine. Checked in a few hours later and was told “just waiting on a lift”. Eventually told cost just to diagnose the issue would be approximately $300 in addition to the $50. I’ve never been charged by a mechanic to diagnose an issue. Anyway, that’s not the reason for the 1 star. The car that apparently never made it onto the lift, now sounds like a Mack truck. I would recommend you bring your car literally anywhere else.

    Ross Schultz: I wish there was an option for 6 stars. You always hear about so many mechanics taking advantage of people because they dont know better and you think: "I wouldnt let that happen to me". Well I thought that too until I had to start looking for a replacement shop a few years ago after finally realizing the shop I was going to was taking advantage of my me because of my age (I was 19 when I switched), and my unfamiliarity with working on cars. They charged astronomical fees, told me I was getting upgraded parts when they were actually the cheapest they could find, and the last straw was casually being told they would buy my mint condition modified 2000 4Runner for $1000. Once I found Hyde Park Auto, I havent even considered using another shop. I deal with Maddie quite a bit - since Im in there quite a bit - and she is just amazing. She is so funny and she doesnt take shit from anybody. The mechanic Jordan is the one who works on my 4Runner the majority of the time so he is familiar with what my car needs and how my specific car works. Everyone there is just... genuine. They tell you exactly what they will be doing, and most of all explain it to you. They always make sure you get the best service for the lowest price they can give you. I will recommend Hyde Park Auto time and time again. It is SUCH a pleasure working with them.
