5 /5 Scott Yerbury: Ish is the best. Inviting and personable. The way a hair salon should be. My wife sometimes shears my balding head dependant on my busy schedule but it is a treat to go see Ish and get a great haircut in an inviting atmosphere. He does a great job, friendly, and has great taste in music. Thank you Ish!!! Im due for a treat for myself. His sister does a great job too. Thank you to both of you!!

5 /5 Justin Gardner: I give this review for MEN who are looking to get a good haircut , in and out and pretty low price.I can’t speak for women. I’ve been going to Ish since I was 16! 28 years he’s been my guy. Even my ex gf was a very good hair dresser and she even admitted he did my hair better. Haircut is like 14-15 bucks. He is fast and will go through 4,5 haircuts of all styles in 20-25 minutes but not be rushing anybody out. He takes his time. The BEST part , my man can work with severe “ HAT HEAD”. He’s done it for me over a dozen times easily. He’s also a really nice guy. He may not give the pampered shampoo n wash ,hot towel, warm shaving cream , etc- but he makes up for it in his skill and no real waiting and price.You can however request shampoo n wash and shaving options.

1 /5 Steven Byerwalters: Place is garbage, asked her to trim my beard, and pretty much shaved it off. Do not go to this place, waist of money, and she doesnt listen to anything you say. Place should shutdown if they cant listen to the customers and give them what the ask for. Thanks for shaving my beard off douche bags. Didnt want to give them any stars but guess its not a option.

5 /5 Suhail Merchant: Haircuts are a very personal thing, a bad haircut will stay with you till its grown out. Sure you can wear a cap but you know, and thats what matters! Its been a difficult experience for me to find a good place to get a haircut everywhere I go and I move around a lot so thats almost every year till. Since I moved to the US its been especially difficult as the natives here have a different kind of hair and so even the best pros can be thrown off. Ive been to a lot of ethnic hair salons and they take one look at me and tell me they cant promise miracles. They are very friendly though. To make things worse, my hairs thinning so not much to work with. Ishs was down the road from where I stayed in Troy. Nervous as I stepped in he started off by making me really comfortable and gave me the best haircuts Ive got in a while. From Iraq, hes been in Troy and the US for over 25 years, cutting hair in the same location ever since. He is a Mercedes lover and has 4 of them! The mayor and the chief of police and also all the local hospital doctors come to him for haircuts. Hes not formal, walk in and he will have you wait and give you a great cut. No regrets. One of the things I will miss most about Troy.
