Michael Brown: Nice sized waterfall at a small park away from everything. Picnic table on site to sit and have a nice lunch while you listen to the sound of the falls. Small parking area for a few cars. The graffiti on the bridge at the falls takes away a small bit from the beauty of the area
Nicole Bowie: The family loves it! 3 kids (7-13) and 2 adults, took the trails down, across, and around the falls. There was a clear path. Lots of great photo opts with amazing views. The path got very steep but no complaints from the kids!
Kae Harrison: We attended the crafts fair hosted here this weekend. It was well run, decently attended, very nicely organized, and very enjoyable. Clean bathroom facilities. Great variety of vendors and food/drink options. Good parking. Nice live acts with a good volume (not always a given!)
Carey Hewitt: The rooms are absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in the king suite and besides the beauty of the room that bathtub was the best bathtub for a bath I have ever ran into. And we practically spent the majority of the time sleeping because the bed was like a HUGE pillow and now I dream of it every night just wishing that I could just float on that cloud again. Best sleep Ive gotten since Ive had children. I absolutely recommend them. I couldnt have been more happier.
Christina L: I think we spent all summer here this year. Definitely going to look in to getting season passes for next year. If youre not swimming, then relax on the beach, or go fishing, or ride rides, or play games, or go to the playground or eat..theres always enough to do in this tiny park. And then right outside of it as well either shops, bars, candy stores, wine slushies, ice cream stands and gift shops. Its free to enter, but $10 to park, if you park inside the amusement park/Beach.
Mike Koegel: Great walking trail with a playground and historical/educational signs and things to engage with along the way. Trail was a bit wet and muddy in spots but it was expected after the recent rainfall in mid May.
Dawn Plantamura: An Unforgettable Experience at the Wild Animal Park!
My visit to the Wild Animal Park was truly unforgettable! I had the rare opportunity to enjoy personal encounters with penguins and otters, and it was even more magical than I imagined. Feeding the penguins up close and watching their quirky personalities shine was an absolute delight. The playful otters stole my heart β getting to interact and play with them was such a unique and joyful experience.
Our guide, JanLynn, was outstanding. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the animals. Her insights made the experience even more meaningful and fun.
The park itself was impressively clean and well-kept, and every animal I saw looked healthy, happy, and well cared for. Itβs clear the staff goes above and beyond for the welfare of these animals. I highly recommend visiting β especially if you can book one of the animal encounters. You wonβt regret it!
Scoot: Main trail is about an hour long around the pond/ swamp. Lots of fishing spots. Trails are clean and upkept nicely. Wooden bridges and walk ways on trail.
